”We had never been to this area and the house was the perfect home base to use to explore the area. There’s a lot of beaches and state parks to enjoy on the island and we also explored the area’s other features including Port Townsend and wineries/cideries. The house was beautifully maintained and comfortable and we loved being there and on the water. ”

”This property is located in a quiet and safe neighborhood near a walking trail. The indoor area is small but lovely and decorated with charm. The property includes an outdoor courtyard with chairs and a fire pit. The owners were delightful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to revisit this property in the future. ”

”This was a lovely, quiet place to stay while visiting Port Townsend. It was just far enough out of town, but not a long haul.”

”Loved the room and location. It was very clean and much better than expected! the only thing was that I wished the tv was already connected to a WiFi for us to watch tv at the end of the night, very annoying to have to try 3 diff connections and complicated passwords. However, not a deal breaker and would stay here again.”

”The photos don't do justice to the view, especially after dark. It's so cool to watch a cruise ship float by at night and see it all lit up. The general quality of the home is about what you see in the photos. We found the home to be adequately equipped but it seemed odd that there was only one wine glass. ”

”This home was comfortable and clean, nicely decorated and roomier than expected. Yard and porch welcoming. The only negative was it was difficult to find. We understood it was behind another home at the same address, but arrived after dark and could not find the street numbers. Did not expect to have to drive in the grass and through a gate. A sign or detailed instructions would have helped. ”

”The Abode On the Sea is very charming. The bed was especially comfortable and the kitchen very well equipped. The view is spectacular! I especially appreciate the hot water on demand and great water pressure. The abode is very accessible to the lovely town of Winslow/Bainbridge Ferry and other attractions like several beaches, the Grand Forest and a quick drive to the Rolling Bay Area and Bloedel Reserve (a must see natural delight). We highly recommend this delightful abode.”
