”The room was very good. The kitchen service was average.
The front desk staff, first an African American woman and then a young African American man, did not even offer a simple smile. Their attitude was cold and came across as annoyed.
At check-out, there was a different young man who treated us well and was courteous during our departure.
This is not about racism at all, but their poor service clearly stood out.”

The biggest selling point for us was the proximity to the wedding venue. It was literally right next door—a two-minute walk—which made the transition from the ceremony to the reception incredibly easy.
We were pleasantly surprised by how spacious the room was. We had plenty of "getting ready" space...
