Short Stay
Excellent location - easy walk to town / railway. Marvellous view of estuary, yachts, which even with rainy weather brightened the spirit. Could sit & relax just looking at the view. Superb bathroom with large shower. Good facilities apart from kitchen utensils - need overhaul. Didn't like fold up dining chairs.

Osprey country
Top rate apartment in a perfect location.Our third visit but still finding plenty to do. The apartment is perfect for visiting the local area.Do not miss osprey watching at Glaslyn and Dyfi or the Dinorwig slate museum. Yr hen fecus is a delightful restaurant 5 minutes away. Beware Harlech castle has a tiny carpark and a very steep hill

This property was very comfortable and well furnished. It suited our needs and had outside space to sit and enjoy the beautiful views. Access to the town nearby was good. We would definitely book again.

Lovely Apartment
Wow, what a wonderful place to stay. OK, we had fantastic weather, but the location on the waters edge was perfect. Well equipped and an easy walk into town. Good communication from the host also. Would thouroughly recommend.

Ideal position for touring area
Nice comfortable apartment in quiet location with lovely view, well furnished with comfy bed. Location close to rown centre with plenty of restaurants within walking distance meaning no need to use car when eating out or make use of well stocked kitchen facilities.

Picture postcard view, excellent location for amenities and fantastic local walks, helped by the lovely sunshine we enjoyed for most of our stay. Host contacted us beforehand, which was helpful and the parking made life much easier.

Amazing views!
We have just returned home after a great week. The apartment is lovely and the views are just amazing!!! Its in a great location, shops and places to eat are in easy walking distance. We will definitely return as missing the views already.

Ideal!
I am not very mobile so find this apartment ideal. I don’t think it would work for a wheelchair user but ideal if on sticks or crutches. New shower amazing! Beds very comfy. If weather unfavourable, wonderful views from the patio doors.

Lovely location
A really good apartment, beautiful location. Comfy beds, wall heaters efficient and we did need them this time in the evening, kitchen good. Lots to do and easy to get to, a short walk gets you to Porthmadog centre and to the Ffestiniog trains.

Relaxing stay
This ground floor apartment was perfect for mum husband and I and my 91 year old Mum. Walking distance to shops and cafes. Fantastic views from lounge and main bedroom and you can even see the steam train coming and going. Would definitely stay here again. Great to speak to Emma too before we went who answered any questions I had.

Ideal location for exploring
The property was well maintained and a high standard of cleanliness. Modern and practical with fantastic views . A lovely peaceful spot within walking distance of shops, pubs and restaurants. My only downside would be the shower was disappointing , very slow flow .

Thank you so much for your 5* review! Really pleased to hear that you enjoyed the apartment and the location. There was a burst water pipe in the High St area of Porthmadog in December which did affect pressure at Oakley Wharf apartments, this may have been the cause of the issue.

Great area for birding and walks. Steam trains don’t do trips in November which was a shame.
Great little place in great location. Only downside is having to pay for electricity by using a £1 coin meter.

Many thanks for your review. During the colder months the heating is needed more so the meter does require more money to be put in. However it is still running on 1990's cost of electricity - I have never adjusted it to reflect current costs, so it still only requires approximately half the money of what the power actually costs. In other words it is a contribution towards costs rather than covering them. Glad you enjoyed the bird-watching, there is plenty to see there!

Lovely apartment and location
Lovely comfortable apartment, beds very comfortable, lounge etc. Easy to access as the key pad was well thought out and parking very close. Great views all round and close to the town centre. We used the heating a few times in the evening and it soon warmed up, bathroom and shower excellent.

Fantastic Stay
We had an amazing time at this lovely property. Emma gave me a call a few days before our arrival and explained all we needed to know plus recommendations. We loved the apartment.it was spotlessly clean and a very comfortable bed. We were only there for 2 days but we had everything we needed. Nice easy walk to into town and to Borth-y-gest. Lovely view from the apartment and was so relaxing just sitting and watching the boats come and go. Would definitely stay there again. Porthmadog is a great location and very near to Snowdon and nearby villages. Thank you Emma for a lovely stay.

Amazing views and location
The property is in a central location for Porthmadog and the very pretty Borth-y Gest, both within easy walking distance. The views from the lounge are beautiful, we found it so relaxing and fascinating watching the wildlife and boats passing our window. Eating out was difficult to arrange, despite trying to book before we left home, but there was everything available to cater for ourselves at the property. .

Amazing apartment with stunning views
Wow what a beautiful apartment, fully furnished, home from home comforts with access to the harbour. The views are like a postcard, we loved crabbing off the harbour wall and relaxing taking in the stunning scenery. Difficult to eat out due to chef shortages, prebooking is a must!! Enjoyed two meals at the Ship Inn excellent pub food. Get to beaches early to secure a parking space. Favourite beach Harlech Beach amazing soft sand and great for boarding. Lovely for Emma to call before our stay to go through any questions and recommendations, really nice touch! Would definitely stay again. Thank you 😊

Perfect Holiday Property in Porthmadog
We had a lovely stay in Porthmadog, a central location for exploring North Wales. The apartment was as advertised, Spotlessly clean and comfortable. The view accross the estuary/harbour was amazing to come home to at the end of each day. Very relaxing. We would definitely recommend it to friends and family and happily return ourselves.

A great base to explore North Wales
We have just returned from an excellent week in Porthmadog, staying at this lovely apartment. It’s in a great location, just a short walk into town, to restaurants and the Ffestiniog Railway and within easy reach of the many attractions in this lovely part of Wales. The apartment itself felt like a real home from home. Spotlessly clean, super comfortable bed, excellent shower, Comfy and well equipped and, those views! Stunning! There’s a lot to do in the area and much we didn’t get to do. However we can definitely recommend a visit to the Glaslyn Osprey viewing centre and to Snowdonia Alpacas. Both close to Porthmadog and very enjoyable for all ages. Emma was very helpful before we left. Thank you Emma for your suggestions and for letting us enjoy your apartment. We know we’ll be back!

A lovely stay, can't recommend enough!
Stayed at this beautiful apartment, with wonderful views of the harbour. The grounds around the buildings were well kept. The apartment was spotless, the beds comfy and all bed linens and towels very clean. We all love the location of the apartment, it was a real joy to be so near the water's edge and enjoy the scenery. Dream property
Beside the harbour in Porthmadog. Great for less ambled persons as ground floor and a walk in shower. Beautifully kept. A bit worried about the £1 slots foe electricity. We put in far more than we needed. Comfortable beds. Open plan living. We watched the tide come in and out and the boats bobbing about. Some lovely birds. An egret. Plus others. We want to visit again very soon.

Excellent apartment for a break
You open the door, and your eye is immediately drawn to the patio window and the view of the estuary and boats. it is a breathtaking view no matter the state of the tide, or wether it is night or day. Everything worked. Porthmadog has plenty of restaurants and the beauty of the locality is wonderful

Idyllic location
Nothing but positives for this holiday apartment nestling in the picturesque harbour of Porthmadog. In addition to spotless accommodation, the added touches of local pictures on the walls, numerous books, maps and dvds gave it a very homely feel. Very comfortable bed, brand new shower and the use of patio set to enjoy the views was a bonus. With Portmeirrion a short drive away and a coastal path around Borth y Gest on the doorstep, you couldn't wish for anything more. Will definitely be going back - thank you Emma for sharing your stunning apartment.

Time and tide.
Lovely apartment, with fascinating views of the harbour. Watching the tide coming in and out tempts you to be lazy. Don't be put off by the coin in the slot electricity, £1 lasts for ages. Try the Portmeirion café, excellent with lovely staff.
