”I’d read bad reviews after booking so I was very worried. But we got a basic, decent chalet in a good location. It was quiet and safe. It needs a deep clean, mould on curtains, and cobwebs everywhere, but everything else was very clean. It was fine for the price we paid. Sykes cottages manage this chalet, but it’s Atlantic Bays reception, and they won’t know anything about your booking. ”The Harbour is a charming little inn right above the waterfront. My room had a balcony that I sat out on and enjoyed morning coffee and dinner, allowing me to watch the tides and surfers. I was very appreciative that they allowed dogs at a very reasonable weekly rate. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.”

”While very comfortable, the bed especially, and basically clean and useable, the cliff top room was not scrupulously clean, heavily dusty in places, had broken curtain and blind that were then not properly fixed when raised, the lit magnifying mirror in the bathroom didn’t work and had thick dust on the back, the heated towel rail didn’t and again the lower rungs not wiped clean of dust and rust. One bath robe for the two of us, which we didn’t mind or raise as we don’t use them, no towels on...

”We had a lovely stay here, the lock wasn’t working from the outside but was fixed within half an hour, brilliant! Beds are comfortable and the sofa. A good size cottage the bathroom was abit tight but there are public showers on site aswell would definitely come back here. There’s a park on site aswell, laundry room a bar and reception are very helpful. ”Check in was easy reallt friendly. Breakfast was good enough options to quickly have something and go about your day. Room had an iron and ironing board and a hair dryer. Tea and coffee I the room too. Nice for a short stay”
