Great Beachfront Home!

This property is absolutely amazing! It is a 10-15 minute walk to the pier, and you can see the water from the deck and one bedroom. The space was clean and had everything you need. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone looking for a beach stay.

Best vacation ever

The location is great and the host was amazing. Very attentive to details but never intrusive. The rental unit was very clean and had everything you would have at home. A short walk to the pier and then you can retreat back to a quieter, more relaxed area. Would definitely rent this again.

A perfect location to enjoy Old Orchard Beach

If you are looking for a great mix of a quiet beach within walking distance to the Pier and action this is the place to stay. We had plenty of room for our group of 10 and Lena went above and beyond to make us comfortable. The beach is just a few hundred feet away and was by far one of the best locations in the area. The kids also really enjoyed the quick walk to all the amusements and fun OOB has to offer. We really enjoyed this house and highly recommended it to anyone looking to enjoy Old Orchard Beach.

Great vacation home!

From the welcome by the owner, to the wonderful surprise gift waiting inside, I was very happy with this rental. It was spacious, clean, and the location is terrific. There were so many personal touches that made the vacation very pleasant and enjoyable. Everything you needed was already there! I would not hesitate to rent this cottage again. PERFECT VACATION PLACE!!

The absolute best Old Orchard Beach place to stay by far! The house was perfect for us. It was very clean and comfy, well equipped, spacious and had the most comfortable beds. Beach location is undeniably ideal and wonderful, only a short walking distance (less than a minute to get to the beach), not to crowded and very family oriented. Amazing location with terrific owners!

Upon arrival we were greeted with a basket of delicious goodies and a gift for the children. The home was immaculate and spacious as advertised. We have visited OOB for many years and always struggle with finding a place that is accomodating to our rather large family. We had an amazing week with our families renting both Properties and have found a place we can return to year after year. Thanks so much!! See you in 2108!! 😊

Our first vacation of summer 2015- Just couple of words to describe it Excellentic Fantabulous Loved everything from the house, the view of altantic & beautiful soft and white sand on the beach! House was very clean, pictures on VRBO does not make any justice to the actual place. Our young kids had tremendous fun on the beach, they could just walk to beach on their own never to be worried about cars crossing. Warmth and coziness of the house and owner made this homely experience. Thank you very much for this experience – never to be forgotten We will be BACK!! I would strongly recommend to stay in this house

Magic vacation spot, loved it

We could not have picked a more amazing place to spend our family vacation! Everything was absolutely perfect-the weather was fantastic, the ocean was refreshing, like I have never seen it here in Maine before . I think global warming is making the ocean warmer..The location and the house deserve a 5 star rating. I enjoyed walking the beach and loved the peacefulness of this location . This spot was still close enough to walk to all the restaurants and rides for the grandkids. My whole family adored this beach cottage and can't say enough great things about the beautiful beach and the location. It was a highlight to watch the sunsets from the front balcony and the kids watched the Thursday night fireworks from the beach I highly recommend this beach home. It has it all.

Truly a 5 star stay!!

Truly a 5 star stay!! This was our second time spending our family beach vacation at this home and it was again amazing! The home was clean and welcoming when we arrived. It is so nice to find a home that we could all enjoy meals together at the same table (there were 9 of us) and a living area that we could all relax in. The kitchen was equipped with everything needed. The balcony with ocean view is a great place to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning. The beach was great! Soft sand and level beach with plenty of area to sit, even on a busy day. The beach is great for a run in the morning!! The house is a great distance from the pier, we walked there every night...nice to walk back on the beach, too. The owner was so very kind and gracious during our stay:))

True Serenity in Old Orchard Beach

What a wonderful, relaxing week my family had at Serenity Cottage. The cottage was in a great location, close enough to walk to the pier and yet far enough away to avoid the noise when we wanted quiet. The cottage was very clean and spacious and was completely furnished with everything we could want during the week. The owner lives nearby and was available all week if needed, but quite frankly, we had everything we needed and more. The beautiful white sandy beach was located right outside the door and we did not find the beach to be overcrowded the entire week. My family ranged in age from 4 to 73 and we all enjoyed the many activities nearby such as Palace Playland, Cabelas, Ogunquit Playhouse, a lobster cruise, just to mention a few. We are already booked for a week in 2019 and look forward to having another great family vacation at Serenity Cottage.

Summer Kick Off Family Time

We were graciously greeted by the friendly Owner who lives on the 3 compound property, available for advising on any of our few concerns. Each cottage has parking for 4 cars, next to the sandy, beautiful stretch of beach. Two floors of spacious rooms, so comfortably furnished, with two bathrooms, and space for a large family. We enjoyed card games around the large table, nice showers, easy access to beach, town festivities and shopping, and the beauty of extended seaside strolling both morning and night. We felt safe and cared for. When hot out, we were cooled by air conditioning or ceiling fans. There were tv’s in each bedroom and plenty of seats for a big family to relax. The cottage accommodated 10 of us with ease

best beach and cottage combined!

My bookclub consisting of six women spent the week at this wonderful cottage in Old Orchard Beach Maine. The location was ideal. Away from the crowds. This perfect house contained everything we needed for our stay . It was extremely spacious , very clean ,and had all the great amenities necessary . It was really nicely decorated, and welcoming! We absolutely loved it! It was close to the center of town and a short drive to all shopping. It was such a peaceful setting, and we thoroughly enjoyed spending time on the front balcony ,listening to the ocean waves. The washer dryer came in really handy. Best part was the beach -a tranquil paradise, not crowded like other areas of the beach where we had stayed in the past. Private, peaceful, and we were even provided with beach chairs. This is truly a wonderful find. We all loved it and would definitely stay here again . We highly recommend this vacation home! Naomi I

"Home" away from home

This was our second year renting this home and we love our "home away from home". The owner actually treats you like family. The house is very clean and very comfortable. The owner was on site to take care of any needs we had and I can honestly say we had none. The house is well furnished and well-maintained. We could see the ocean from the balcony and we just had to walk across the driveway to be on the beach. No roads to cross, great for my grandchildren. The beach in front of our rental is absolutely beautiful and not overly crowded. The house is far enough away from the pier so that we avoid all the noise, but close enough to walk to when we wanted to visit the shops. We are already booked for 2017 and we can't wait to make many more family memories in our "home away from home". I highly recommend this home for anyone looking to experience Maine and all it has to offer. We have stayed in many rentals from York to Wells and this home is by far the best we've ever seen.

Divine Cottage Steps to the Most Beautiful Beach

This was a well needed vacation. The beach house was paradise. I am so glad I choose it and not a motel or condo. Have been coming to Old Orchard for years. This cottage had everything we needed. Was a find to get parking for four cars with this rental. Really was steps to the most beautiful beach area that I have stayed in, in Old Orchard. The cottage was spotless and bright. It was nice to have the kids downstairs and the adults upstairs. The best feature was the second floor balcony off the living room. Great family room with huge flat screen TV. The kids loved this. Was convenient to walk to Moby Dick's store, a few blocks away. They make great wraps. Across the street is MOOSECOUNTY Surf Shop. My teenage kids rented surf boards. Can't Wait To Go Back!

From the moment we booked online, the owner was attentive and hospitable. Extra safety precautions were taken on their part due to the COVID-19 and we were so pleased with the attention to detail, cleanliness, and amenities provided for our stay. To sit on the deck and watch the sunrise, or to just sit and listen to the waves was so relaxing. The beach was impeccable. Clean, soft sand with no erosion, proximity to the pier and town shops, and the spacious home were some of the highlights of our vacation. The owner has and offers her expertise in the area recommending shopping, restaurants, local attractions, and activities for any age or interest! We were made to feel like special guests in their home. Every consideration was made to ensure we were more than comfortable for our entire stay. More than once the owner told us "Do not worry about anything, this is your vacation and you should be enjoying your time" This is exactly what our party of 8 needed! This property is a MUST - RENT! We are so excited to return again next year!

OUR IDEAL BEACH COTTAGE RENTAL

"As good as it gets" We left a deposit to come back 2016. The pictures on line do not do this cottage justice. The cottage has spectacular views of the beach which we enjoyed from the inside of the cottage and on spectacular upper deck. Large kitchen with every you need, we entertained often. Spacious and comfortable living room with plenty of AC and ceiling fans.WIFI throughout the house. Renovated with flair and very clean. Best sleep we had on fantastic pillow top beds. Awesome. Proximity to downtown was a 10 minute walk in exchange for being out of the hustle and bustle. Owners are on site so hospitable and extremely nice people. Best part was the beach, fine white sand, flat and seconds away. I highly recommend this beach cottage. I picked this cottage because it 's on a dead end street, safe for my kids. Added bonus was parking for 4 cars! I can go on and on. Thanks, we will be back.

Excellent family location/property with a great host!!!

This was a fantastic vacation! We had two families with a total of six children, aged 21 - 13, for a total of ten people in the house. We fit comfortably and the owner, Lena, was an amazing host! She made sure our stay was comfortable, gave great recommendations and was available to provide anything else we might need! The location of the property is perfect. It is an easy half mile walk into town to experience the tourist element of OOB but far enough away not to be bothered with the noise. We watched the town fireworks from the beach, which is 40 yards from the front door down the owner's private drive. The ocean view and sounds from the house are wonderful. The house is cozy and comfortable, and has all the things you need (you do have to bring your own linens). We cooked several days at the house using the utensils, pots/pans, etc for all 10 of us without issue. We had two minor inconveniences during our stay - a city power outage for a couple hours and a leaky toilet- both of which Lena remained extremely attentive, providing us updates and having the toilet taken care of promptly. We were so impressed with her hospitality. None of us had ever been to Maine before, and we were so impressed and completely enjoyed our stay in this house! Highly recommend!
