”Our recent three-night stay at Sopra Le Mura in Castellammare del Golfo was once again an excellent experience and marked our second visit to this wonderful hotel. ”We liked the location near all amenities Their was a lovely pool in the hotel with a separate area with sunbeds set in beautiful surroundings We liked our room in the main building but our friends stayed in one in the courtyard which was lovely with being able to sit outside yoyr room in the sun too ... The breakfast was lovely sadly cold egs though! But being a gluten free person i was well catered for..... Our room was very cold at night which sadly left us with not a lot of sleep combined...

”Our stay was fine. The mattress, bedding and pillows need significant improvement. The rooms are spacious but lack in charm, particularly in comparison to the charm conveyed in the photos online. The plumbing was imperfect. The shower head required holding in place to prevent it from spraying all over the place. Well located and nice staff. ”

”The hotel has best views in the Castellammare Del Golfo. It was was bit noisy for 3 nights as they had events. Rooms are clean but for some reason lots of ants on the floor!!! You need a car to get to places as it’s out of the city. Staff are pleasant!”

While the location isn’t ideal if you want to be in the centre of things, it worked perfectly for us as a base to explore the west of the island, with places like Trapani, Scopello, and the Zingaro Reserve all within easy reach. ”This is absolutely the most awesome experience we have ever had while traveling. Carlo who is the owner/host went out of his way to make our stay comfortable. The place is gorgeous, clean and so inviting. It is a block away feom town square and restaurants. Kalife Vancanze is so charming. Highly Recommend!
