Convenient place to grab a meal while touring the island. Local vendors rent space from a parallel strip of stalls where they sell food, drinks, snacks, produce, souvenirs and more. Nelson's Grill House and A&E Fresh Fruit Juices did the trick for us. Also a good place for a bathroom break, but bring some change as there's a small charge for keeping the potties clean.
Nelson's Grill House serves up a tasty plate of grilled Caribbean style chicken with your choice of sides. They do their cooking on site and in full view at The Shacks. Stop here for lunch or dinner, and grab a fruity shake a few doors down at A&E Fresh Fruit Juices. Once you have your grub, head over to the covered picnic tables to chow it down.
A&E Fresh Fruit Juices is the place to grab a Mango Shake on a hot afternoon. They set up in The Shacks - a parallel strip of rented stalls from which local vendors cook and sell food (mostly Caribbean style), snacks, souvenirs and more. Quick and easy stop, complete with covered picnic tables and (pay) restrooms.

Bemötandet vid incheckningen var toppen! Rummen var stora och fina. Väldigt god middag. Frukost ok men inga stora valmöjligheter och allt fanns inte när vi väl valt alternativ.

It was a joy to stay at The Champs. Staff was great and helpful, views were extraordinary and pool was very nice! Definitely recommend if staying in Portsmouth!

Excellent stay, my cottage was super clean, had all the necessities including beach towels, soap, coffee. Bedroom came with AC allowing for a very comfortable sleep. Owners are wonderful , very friendly and helpful.
