”Floors not clean. Washing machine full of dirty water. Bedding was adequate. Shower got barely warm. You get what you pay for. ”

”The Malt Store surpassed our expectations, the apartment was huge, absolutely spotless and extremely comfortable. Birr is a nice little town and we were very close to all amenities. The staff were very prompt and friendly in answering any correspondence regarding our stay. I would thoroughly recommend The Malt Store as accommodation if visiting this part of Ireland. First class.”

”This place was situated right in the middle of everything! It was great to explore the area! The staff at the restaurant/bar were absolutely 💯 awesome! The rooms do get hot, fan is in the closet. I thought the pillows were hard but husband liked them. Staff were top notch!”

”Lovely hotel with great amenities and lovely grounds. Room was great and a very generous breakfast served each day. The restaurant was a bit pricey however, food is delicious with good portions. Staff all very helpful. Will stay here again.”

”An Excellent Bed and Breakfast. The owners were very friendly and the atmosphere was nice. A few kilometers from Birr in the countryside, which is a walkable distance I guess, or by taxi which was about 5 euros from town. My Thanks to the Owners/Staff of the Ring Farmhouse!”

”Nice room, helpful reception lady (she recommended a good pizza place since dinner wasn't available anymore at our time of arrival.) As a small minus, there was no more hot water because of a high visitor count at the time. (The visitor count was high because of a maraton and the lobby was quite crowded.) As for the breakfast, it was delicious and the waffles were excellent”
