The towels were basically worn out rags, and frayed out. The pillows were flat and uncomfortable. The mattresses were mushy, though we managed...

”The room was clean and breakfast was very good. However, the room that we stayed in had an air-conditioner that was very noisy periodically. It disturbed our sleep, so turned it off during the night. The smoke detector also began beeping in the middle of the night, so had to contact the front desk to reset it.”

”We recently booked a one-night stay at the Homewood Suites by Hilton College Station through Expedia. While the actual hotel stay was fine, the billing experience through Expedia turned into an absolute nightmare due to a severe technical glitch. Even though I fully paid Expedia at the time of booking, Expedia's virtual billing cards or payment mode apparently failed to transfer correctly to the hotel's system. Because of this system absence, the hotel's automated processing repeatedly charged...

Explanation was that they were in the process of changing vendors. Ran out of coffee for guests during continental breakfast. No water provided with breakfast. Pool water was green and did not look clean.”
