”The area surrounding this hotel was not safe. There were many homeless people in the parking lot asking for money, and sleeping in their cars. We witnessed drug use by some of the patrons. I will not be staying here again.”

”Staff was very friendly. The hotel is dated and shows wear and tear. The beds were clean but the carpet is very old and worn. Bathroom was also dated and shower didn’t work very well.”

”Didn't use the internet. So I can't review that. Room was immaculate. Breakfast was hot and fresh. The kitchen staff was super friendly and constantly tidying.”

”We were very disappointed with one major problem. We were there for three nights without TV during the NCAA Final Four games. The hotel said they were switching cable providers and there were problems. We ask for an adjustment for our room charges and they refused, saying it was the cable company's fault. We have crossed this hotel off our list based on their response and attitude in dealing with a problem that is clearly their responsibility. ”

”The cabin is nice and cozy. They have a welcoming gift of baked cookies and souvenir mugs. So thoughtful! This place is so easy to drive and very near to New Gorge national park. And I recommended traveling here during fall because it is more fantastic around seeing beautiful shades of leaves while relaxing in the cabins hot tub! But if you want nature, do come here anytime of the year! ”

”Nice staff, very helpful, clean room, very nice amenities in the room( microwave, frig, desk and two chairs, lamp and good lighting, flat screen tv with internet, excellent bed and pillows. The motel has no pool, homeless live there, the area is shady and the motel is being remodeled, noisy freeway out one side, and someone knocked on my door at midnight all 10 nights….?”
