”This was a grand old mansion that was well cared for. The room was lovely, warm and comfortable. There was one other couple staying but we never saw them. The morning breakfast bar was more than adequate and the coffee was delicious. There were several sitting rooms on the first floor which were sunny and relaxing. Parking was right behind the house and keyless entry worked very well. This was a lovely location and I wish we had more time to stay there.”

The walls in the rooms are not soundproof at all so not ideal for light sleepers. The live music is until 10-10.30 pm and after that it gets quieter. There's a nice fireplace in a shared space on the ground floor next to the bar. The rooms are very small. They are relatively clean. There's no staff on the hotel. It's self check in. ”
