We loved our stay at the Hotel Smeraldo. Everyone here was incredibly kind and helpful, providing recommendations for places to eat and activities and how to get around. The property itself is beautiful, and the rooms overlooking the water have gorgeous balconies--the best view we had in 10 days in the Amalfi coast. Would absolutely come back.

근데 내부는 구식이어요. 모든게 오래된느낌.특히 수건과 큰타올이 그냥 식탁보같은 재질은 천이라서 놀랬어요.주차장도 꽤멀어서 차빼고 나올때 들어갈때마다 주차장언덕을 가야합니다.직원은 친절합니다.

Rafaelo and Giorgio were so kind and helpful! The staff was very attentive. The view from this hotel was by far the best view we had the entire trip!! The room was very spacious and clean. We would recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay away from the crowd but still close enough to spend the day in positano or almalfi.

Beautiful hotel owned by an amazing family! They make sure that you feel special! We got upgraded to room with balcony and jacuzzi. And a view to die for! Make sure you eat a dinner there, food is delicious.

First time to the Almalfi coast. Chose this little gem of a hotel in the quiet town of Praiano. The family and staff (Georgio) took care of our every need and made us feel welcome. Hotel clean and up to date with the most beautiful views of the Almalfi coast and Capri. Perfect place to stay in between Positano and Amalfi. We will definitely be back to stay in the future!

It was a birthday dream come true to stay at the Smeraldo hotel this year. It’s a mom and pop owned hotel in a small town between Positano and Amalfi. Hotel room was exactly as the pictures showed. Queen bed, couch, desk, balcony with a second bathtub. It was paradise. The restaurant’s terrace gave amazing views. I also enjoyed the way that breakfast is served. They bring you 1 plate at a time…makes you feel fancy while you’re sitting overlooking the beautiful scenery. Loved this place!!

The views are incredible here. The room was as pictured and majority of our time was spent on the balcony looking out at pasitano and the sea. Staff was helpful and dinner was very tasty. Very quiet and friendly town in general. We liked walking down to the little beach and hanging out by the beautiful church and square.

Dear Sir,We are very very sorry to be catched like that as we tried to explain pretty carefully about reaching LA PRAIA Beach: once back, you told me it took 50 minutes to find it and it sounded strainge to me: 1 chilometer shoudn't take 50 minutes on foot, and you have just to follow the raod, you cannot miss it, as you see it from the road.Well, this involved your mediocre votation and I feel sorry for that: you know, you travelled into Italy and into the Amalfi Coast; I can understand it is not Oregon and you are "not used" to all that.P: S.: Your kind wife thanked us repeatevedly on leaving

The great thing is it has the beach right below it. But you need to go down a large amount of steps which take a good 20 mins and when you get there it’s all concrete paved and water smelled horrible.

You are incredible: LA GAVITELLA Beach is on the Top list along the Amalfi Coast beaches, and ONE FIRE Beach Club serves one of the most 5 star Hotel on the Coast!You are the 1st person to say that: we would like to guess maybe it was a busy period with a lot of yachts and boats nearby or passing by there.Nobody else complaint for bad smelling water

Un hotel tradicional de la zona, con una visita unica a mar donde se alacanza a ver Positano. Las habitaciones tienen su propio balcon, nevera, y aire. Aparte el staff del hotel es muy servicial y atentls a cualquer cosa que uno necesite. El hotel queda a 15 min de Positano en Bus, el cual tiene una parada al todo el frente del hotel. Volvere a este hotel en el futuro.

Hotel Smeraldo is an exceptionally great place to stay. The family run hotel has extremely friendly and helpful staff that treat guests like members of their family. The views from the open air restaurant are amazingly beautiful and the food and wine on offer are delicious. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet and had its own balcony with a lovely view. I would highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Praiano.

Fantastic
This is a wonderful boutique property with some of the best views on the Amalfi coast. There is a real Italian charm to the place, and all the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. I wasn’t sure I’d made the right call when I booked Praiano instead of Positano, but it ended up being the best decision! I would definitely stay at this hotel again!

Loved this hotel so much! It was such a gem and the entire staff treated me like family. They had great recommendations and even helped set up my taxi back to Naples. The beautiful terrace from my room looking out to Positano was incredible. This is in such a great location and right away the awesome One Fire Beach club and water taxi. I would definitely stay again! Thanks Hotel Smeraldo for such a wonderful stay!

I really liked my stay, very clean, a fabulous view and very good service. the hotel is very well located between Positano and Amalfi. and if you don't go by car you can take the bus very close to there is the stop, which takes you to Positano

The staff greeted us right as we walked in and made us feel welcome! We then received an upgrade with a view of the sea. In my opinion there was not a bad view from the hotel. The restaurant at the hotel was beautiful and the food was amazing! The rooms are very unique to Italy! we were very happy that we stayed in periodano versus Positano. Beautiful walk down to the beach and good restaurants surrounding the area. We will be sure to visit this hotel again in future travels!

The staff at this hotel were so kind and friendly. The view from the dining area in the property was absolutely breathtaking. The rooms were gorgeous, so clean and beautiful views from the balcony.

As often, most demanding people reveal themselves as the worst: this person started requiring very late check in, late storage for his luggage, breakfast in his bedroom, etc. In the same weekend, other guests left excellent and enthusiastic reports, saying great things about the owner’s kindness and the rich breakfast. Very strange, isn’t it?

The view!
Hotel was AMAZING and the view was gorgeous. We stayed from dec 23-25 as a last minute trip. The city was shut down of course but the hotel owner was so sweet and accommodating. Bathroom and everything was very clean and breakfast was a typical Italian breakfast, but with a gorgeous view. We could see Positano from our balcony and the drive there was 10 minutes. I highly recommend this location.
