Welcome to Camp Windy Dock on Grand Lake in Presque Isle, Michigan! This spacious 5-bedroom, 2.5-bath log cabin with an adjacent bunkhouse offers 2800 sq ft of lodge-style living space, perfect for families. Whether you choose to relax by the lake or explore the beauty of Grand Lake, Lake Huron, or the Sunrise Coast, you'll experience breathtaking views and unforgettable moments in a part of Michigan that few have discovered. It's the perfect getaway for those seeking adventure and tranquility.

Cable: No traditional cable but TV's are equipped with Roku Sticks

Cell Phone Service: Most Major providers work well in the area

Coffee Maker: French Press, Keurig combo, and pour over

Dock: 60 ft. w/ double platform at the end. Dock available Memorial Day through Early October.

Drinking Water: Well water, it is tested. Some might prefer bottled drinking water.

Drugs/Smoking/Fireworks: Freshwater does not permit illegal drugs of any kind on the property. Due to the location of the properties, smoking is strongly discouraged around the home and strictly prohibited in the home. Fireworks are prohibited at a Freshwater location for the safety of all persons in and around the property, even if it is legal in that city.

Fireplace: Yes, wood burning stove. Please bring your own wood.

Fire-pit: Yes. Please bring your own wood.

Fishing: Perch, Walleye, Pike, Small Mouth & Large Mouth Bass

Fishing License: A license is required to fish in Michigan.

Golf: Rogers City Country Club: 16 minutes (13.7 miles)

Grill: There is a Weber propane grill, & a charcoal start grill (Charcoal provided)

Grocery Store:
Birch Hill is 4 minutes away (2.3 miles), but closes between 6:00 & 7:00 PM.
Family Fare in Roger City 18 miles (22 min)
There is also a Meijer in Alpena 32 minutes away(22.8 miles), perfect for stopping on your way to the property!

Handicap Friendly: There are no additional features to make this property handicap friendly.

Heat: Radiant and forced air heating is used at this location.

Hot Tub: 7 person salt water hot tub just added!

Hunting: Hunting is not allowed on the property

Internet/WIFI: Spectrum WiFi, 300MBPS

Linens: Yes, we provide your sheets and linens. Just like a hotel, the beds will be made for you upon arrival. We have the basic sheets, pillows, pillowcases, and bath towels.

Pets: This property is not pet-friendly.

Privacy: There are full time neighbors right next door.

Snowmobiles: a person (resident and nonresident) that operates a snowmobile in Michigan is required to purchase a snowmobile trail permit. The trail permit enables snowmobilers to ride state-designated trails and thousands more miles of public roads and on public lands (where authorized). It is valid for one year, which begins Oct. 1 and ends Sept. 30 of the following year. State-designated trails are open Dec. 1-March 31 and grooming occurs when there is enough snow on the ground.

Televisions: There is a 40" TV in the loft, and a 50" TV in the living room. Both TV's have a Roku Stick for streaming.
