”Check-in and check-out were very smooth. The room was spotless and the amenities were excellent, including the well-stocked small fridge with food and snacks. The weather was exceptionally cold during our stay, and unfortunately the small heater wasn’t quite enough to keep the room comfortably warm.”

”The hut was surprisingly spacious. Very clean and well equipped. It was very cosy and comfortable. Included breakfast was excellent. We had dinner in the pub which was delicious. We felt the whole break was very good value ”

”Reception looks modern and clean. And the staff both checking in and out were friendly and welcoming. The room however was dated and the bathroom needs work due to cracked grouting, mould in the shower and just generally tired looking. The bed was very springy but we appreciate they added an extra for my child for the booking. ”

”We managed to park easily and as our room was ready we were allowed to check in at 1 o’clock . Very good position and so easy to get into the town centre .”

”No bar and restaurant which was advised after booking but before check in. Tv not working (despite looking brand new), phone in room not working, WiFi terrible but a lovely setting. Just felt a bit odd with no amenities. Just ordered a food delivery and had an early night… wish I’d taken a book to read!”

”We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Kings Head. The staff were really friendly, breakfast was delicious and the tapas menu was superb. Some facilities were in need of attention such as the lack of sufficiently hot water in the shower. Overall though we would definitely go back”
