”Very clean and great staff. The breakfast was lovely. Nice to find out that the meat from the brasserie is all halal, which meant I had a steak on our second night. Other guests were perfectly pleasant, didn't experience any issues considering we were the only non-white couple there and my wife dresses modestly. ”Staff was incredibly accommodating and kind. The location is a bit further out which means you should plan travel accordingly. The rooms were clean and the staff gave you all the information you needed if you had to contact them.”

”In all an average room. The beds were comfortable. The room was not clean at all cobwebs and dust in the bedroom area and the bathroom was disgusting the shower was not clean and underneath the toilet liner had brown old stains on was really dirty.”

”I was one of a quite a few wedding guests staying at the hotel? Luckily our room had Aircon which was lovely but I know quite a few of the other rooms didn’t have Aircon so I think that would be advisable to be put in all the rooms”

”Character room, good size with everything you would need. There were a few things that needed refreshing but it was all fine for a short stay. The breakfast was really good, hot and well presented with good coffee/tea. Good value for money and good location for many places to visit.”

”It's a fairly basic 3* hotel. It's right in the services, so handy for grabbing a bite and the have a breakfast voucher option for £7.50 that gets you £10 to spend in the services. Hotel was clean, albeit a bit tired. Beds were comfortable enough, but one of our mattresses had a bit of a dip. Fan in the room was appreciated. We stayed 3 nights for Silverstone and it is fine for a short stay / stopover. We would normally stay in 4*+ hotels, but this was perfectly fine. Receptionist advised...

”We had a lovely weekend at The Red Lion. The staff were incredibly helpful both ahead of and during our stay, and the pub food and breakfasts were very tasty. Our room felt a little dated and in need of maintenance in places, especially in the bathroom, but it served its purpose for our stay and we would be happy to go again.”

”Stayed one night for an event at Silverstone. Excellent location for proximity to the circuit. Nice pub with good food. Room was nice with good tea and coffee making facilities. Would stay here again.”

”We had an amazing stay, gorgeous shepherds huts in a lovely location. So nice to have the pub nearby! We stayed during the heatwave and our hut was particularly hot, the staff were so nice to prepare another more shaded hut for us for our second night, we really appreciated the gesture! Highly recommend!”

”Great overnight stay in Kilsby. High standard accommodation at a reasonable price. Good communication from host even though we did not see him. Two village pubs to choose from in the village and nice breakfast in Crick Pie and Pickle at 23”
