”The hotel was beautiful and historical, the service was super friendly and the food was great! The spacious room was decorated in very nice and modern style, but... The carpet was dusty (or at least not cleaned/vacuum cleaned) since the previous customer, nor was it cleaned between our 2 nights stay. What was much worse; in the room there was a stark moldy smell that did not go off even as we kept the windows from both sides of the room open for 2 full days & nights. ”Spent one night at the hotel. It is located in a cute small town. There is a good car park and the hotelarea is beautiful. The room was OK size, but could use an update. The pub was nice and the breakfast was good. Staff was friendly and helpful :)”

”Easy to find and helpful staff when we arrived early . Light flickering in toilet but sorted by staff straight away . Found previous occupants half eaten Chinese takeaway still in the bin in the room which wasn’t great . Reported to reception all very apologetic but should really happen if housekeeping being done throughly . Maybe they just had an off day . Colleague in separate room only had one towel in the room, no bathmat and no hand towel but as a sole occupant she decided not to complain...

”We booked two rooms; however, upon arrival, we were informed that only one room was available. The staff kindly offered to accommodate us in a nearby Airbnb, but we were not comfortable staying away from the hotel. As a result, the four of us shared the one available room. We appreciate that the staff provided a credit to compensate for the inconvenience in place of the meal arrangement, and we are grateful for their assistance.”

”The hotel is very clean and ideally located, with shops nearby and an adventure centre with cinema and other entertainment facilities just across the road. We booked a family room and it was great, very spacious and clean. I requested a cot for my baby and it was in the room when we got there. The swimming pool and other facilities were wonderful, and we all enjoyed it. The bar/restaurant was great too and they were showing the World Cup final on the big screen which was brilliant for my husband...
