”Great place to stay if you’re off to the races, 15mins by car or Taxi. The pub does not provide a breakfast but their evening meals are good, and the staff are friendly. The rooms are at the back of the pub and have ensuite bathrooms, tea, coffee and water bottles in the mini fridge. The linen and towels were all fresh and the bed very comfortable. ”

”Arrived 30 mins before check in and was taken straight to our room. The lady that showed us to our room was lovely, and was very kind when my toddler chatted away to her. Room was clean and looked lovely. I liked that you could park right outside your room which was easy to unload the car. ”was unable to sleep in the bed as the room had a major issue with black mould in the bathroom which had become airborne & affected the the entire room the smell was over powering slept in a chair as the bed was cover with the black mould smell & was unable to breath, suffer with chest infections which the spores got on my chest I had to call 111 & was directed to Ipswich hospital for antibiotics, never even stopped for breakfast on day 2 felt to ill on antibiotics for next 5 days, this all...

”In the interest of fairness I have stayed at this hotel before and I had a much better stay… won’t be going back. This time i was given a room in an annex to the property. It was the hottest night of the year and none of the windows in the room would stay open – the window framed looked rotten and locks didn’t work.The room was boiling and the fan was plugged right over the other side of the room and so was useless. The plug sockets either side of the bed were not UK standard so I couldn’t...

”The pub is friendly with good food and staff. The separate block which houses the bedrooms looks boring but the bedrooms inside are incredibly beautiful. I enjoyed underfloor heating in the bathroom and the lovely views of the countryside. ”

”Ok but do NOT book in the summer!! Only one room has air con and the heated towel rail can not be turned off! Even with the fuse removed (owner advised we remove). This made the bathroom ridiculous hot which filtered through to the room. Room wasn’t the cleanest, stains up the walls from coffee (I hope) Aircon in all rooms would make it much more comfortable and the rest could be overlooked. Staff were fantastic though.”
