”Nice rooms very well appointed , centrally located”

”The room was clean, though the wastebasket near the fridge was half full when we arrived. The room was well outfitted, but a little tight on space. The bathroom was modern and clean, but there was no shelf space at all in the bathroom. Neighbors upstairs were quite loud coming in at 11 pm. Location was great for easy walk to the waterfront, restaurants and shops as well as up to the public gardens.”

”Very cool restored hotel, rooms are quite small as an older hotel, however well maintained. Try and get an outside room overlooking the gardens as interior rooms all look at the mechanical on a lower roof.”

”Perfect location to enjoy the Halifax waterfront. Easy access to everything you could want. Pool and exercise facilities clean. Breakfast included is full menu seated service not buffet style and was excellent!”

”The room was very modern, comfortable and clean. It was very close to the waterfront, where we spent most of our time while there. We didn't care for the barn door on the bathroom. It was a bit noisy. The flooring in the bathroom looked dirty, but I think it was just the flooring material that was used. ”When we checked in, we never got a hospitality bag like others did also our room was never cleaned on the second night. They provided towels garbage bag so we had to do it ourselves. Had to call down cause we had no hot water had to wait two hours before we got some. On checkout they charged us another $250 instead of refund $250. We missed our breakfast because we had to hurry up and grab our flight. Besides all of that, it’s a nice hotel.”

”Overall 3.5/5 The room was clean and quite spacious, although the bed nook was a bit awkward to get in and out of. It is in a decent part of town (north end) with lots of cute cafe’s near by without the hype of ‘downtown’. The feel is very much like an Airbnb. Access to the property was easy.
