View was amazing. However, not private. Several days strangers set up lawn chairs in front of our view on the grass and every sunrise there was a pack of noisy people standing out on the grassy area to right (residents in units without views?). With all the people roaming around, felt had to keep curtains closed at night which limited air flow and lovely views of stars. Trailhead to sea lodge beach super convenient, right outside unit and was a very nice little beach. Parking easy and convent close to condo. We were excited to see a full size washer/dryer....however, the clothes came out of washer extremely wet and after three hours (!) in the dryer I gave up and hang them on hangers to finish drying. The unit was hot, there was a stand fan available but it is missing a blade so very noisy. The towels were very old/worn, sheets were new and nice, comforter was old/pilled, mattress worn out and stained. Pillows also way past prime, there were extras in the closet but only 2 pillow cases total. Unit wasn't super clean. The microwave was very dirty with something spilled inside. Refrigerator door very dirty and I ended up vacuuming the whole unit after we got tired of dirty feet. We had to rearrange all the extra chairs/pillows, huge pull cart in closest so we could even partially step into closet to use the closet to hang our clothes. Overall, we did enjoy our stay but felt we had way overspent on the rental due to poor conditions and lack of privacy.

sunrise. Note the people on grassy area. Some would sit down behind bushes out of the way, but others were standing and talking loudly.

This super cool condo checked off all the boxes on my list. My highest priority requirement was an ocean view and a window that allowed me to listen to the ocean all night long. I got both and it was absolutely incredible. The area was safe, convenient (close to everything) and so beautiful. We had so much fun there. And of course , Geri made sure all my questions were answered and that we had everything we needed. No complaints. I’ll definitely be back.

Appliances were not very functional. Dishwasher leaked making it unusable. Garbage disposal gave up and leaked water and debris. Dryer did not work. Otherwise the unit functioned even though upholstery was old dirty and tired. Great view but overall E2 was unsafe and long overdue for renovation.

Over all it was poor. When we checked in there several dead bugs around the apartment. Including a 4 inch centipede. The TV did not work. Tried with Jerry, property manger, to get it fixed. That did not happen. The apartment is quite rundown. The only redeeming quality of the place was the view. That was great. I wish I knew that there was no AC in the apartment.

Nice, comfortable place

Great view, comfortable bed, fantastic beach within walking distance, well equipped kitchen. There was a dead battery in the smoke detector and the toilet flush was quite weak but if that's the worst I can say about it, that's pretty good.

Beautiful location

Ok, the unit is a bit dated and the ravages of time and the constant humidity has taken it's toll on the building, the appliances and interior finishes but it was clean and well equipped and everything worked. The location is fantastic and the views are incredible.

Beautiful spot but in urgent need of renovations

I wish the owners would follow what the other reviewers are saying: change the bed, renew the place. It’s old, overused. So while you really enjoy the stunning views and the perfect location (north of Kauaii is our favorite part of the island), you can’t possibly ignore that this little condo is old and could be loved way more to help guests fully enjoying their stay. The pool is good and very close (no sun shade though), maintenance guys are nice people (microwave was broken but fixed the same day. Dishwasher stayed broke for 2 days but it was july 4th so we understood that and the property manager was responsive). Limited kitchen tools. No little spoons and with a 4yo it’s not easy. No tea towels, you just eat on the glass of the table. Enough clean but how much can you clean a place that is so outdated?

Stunning views

Thank God for beautiful views of the beach - the interior specifically the bedding left little to be desired. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable but the sunrise view from the bed makes up for it. The kitchen sink wouldn’t drain. And the bathroom is about as basic as it gets - make sure you check the water temp before entering or you might get a surprise in either direction. We loved the location and views - meets all your basic needs including beach chairs, towels, cooler and snorkel equipment.

Honest Review

Previous reviews are pretty accurate. Killer view. So nice to have beach chairs and snorkel equipment! Very quiet and private. Dated furnishings. Bedspread and shams on Punai/day bed were not clean. Chair needs upholstery cleaned. Bedspread in master is insane. Bright gold crushed velvet!! Wow. Bed was comfortable but old dingy box spring on rusty old frame with no bedskirt. Garbage disposal didn't work the whole time which was a problem, since we were cooking. When you run dishwasher sink fills with gross water. Management super friendly and attentive so fixed every problem within their power quickly and effectively. All that said, it was a good spot. What I expected I guess.

Es handelt sich um eine alte Anlage mit herrlichem Ausblick. Die Wohnung ist funktional. Der Urlaub war traumhaft!!! Wer keine 5 Sterne und Rundumbetreuung braucht, sondern mit der Landschaft, wandern, surfen und unglaublich netten Leuten zufrieden ist, ist in der Sealodge und der Northshore richtig!

Would book again!

The views alone make this place worth it!! You can tell the building itself is a bit outdated with older appliances, which is why I took off one star. The toilet took forever to flush and the shower drains very slowly. They do note it on the listing, but just be aware it can get very hot without an AC unit. We had fans running and all windows open. Overall, great views, great location, easy check in and out. Clear instructions! Host was very prompt with responding to our messages as well.

Great location, unsafe condo!

I’ve stayed four times in different Sealodge properties. As with all Sealodge properties, the view from E2 can’t be beat. It is simply fabulous. However, that can’t be said for E2 itself. Like all Sealodge properties, E2 is a bit on the small size. This small size could be compensated by lovely interior decorating and consideration for the guest needs. The compensation is not forthcoming. The decor of E2 seems to never have progressed past 1999. The bedroom furniture and bedding was dated and shabby. So don’t expect a nicely furnished up to date condo. However, far worse is the number of unsafe features. First the kitchen: One of the kitchen outlets totally “blew” when we plugged in the toaster, giving my husband a shock. The garbage disposal didn’t work, which meant the sink backed up with foul smelling food particles. The light over the stove didn’t work, making it hard to see what we were doing. The condo has four (yes 4) dinner plates. There is no cutting board. The frying pans were the cheapest lightweight aluminum pieces of junk imaginable The bathroom. The shower had two temperatures, one was scalding and the other was freezing. My son discovered the scalding temperature firsthand. The toilet backs up easily too. The bedroom. As crazy as it seems the window handle is very sharp on the bottom. My husband gouged himself on the handle and had to have stitches at the local Urgent Care. The property did have nice lawn chairs and snorkel gear. Stay away.

Beautiful view

Beautiful view of the ocean, cool ocean breeze, great location on the north coast, access to walking trails, quiet. Recommend to upgrade the bedding. Entertainment system hard to use. Would recommend to others.

No Comfortable Expectations. 4 week stay

Premier Hosts we’re not communicating; SeaLodge E2 was booked, although no payment plan. We were unable to make payment & we’re told Host does bookings, Not financial. Several days prior to our date, we finally were able to pay for & get entrance information for E2. *screen door to lanai was missing wheels, difficult to slide & fell off track frequently. *No screen door for main entrance. *Ceiling Fan over DR table did not work. *Light over kitchen Stove was plugged in, no lightbulb in the fixture. *Laundry Washer Knob broke off first time used. Setting was at large load therefore excessive use of water for each use. *Clothes Dryer Lint screen was covered heavily in layers of lint. Fire Hazard. *Screens on windows & lanai door were not fit properly to avoid cracks. Holes in the screens permitted mosquitoes and/or other biting bugs to bite tenants. *Tub/Shower had black mold around edges. Shower curtain covered in black mold as well. *The soles of tenants bare feet were blackened by walking on tile floor first hours in E 2. *SeaLodge swimming pool had been closed many months for reported repairs. Pool lounge chairs were unavailable as well. These are not necessarily listed in importance; each one important re to comfort for the month we stayed in E2. E2 was the 4th condo we have stayed in & past years. It appears SeaLodge Maintenance has great need for improvement. Condo owners, one would think would take pride in their property & maintain a safe comfortable living environment. The Location is amazing with the South Pacific Ocean in front of one. The people, other guests & locals are oh so friendly. We enjoyed many conversations with walkers on a daily basis. We shopped locally & at Farmers Markets for our daily meals. We utilized Urgent Care as well as Pharmacy services during our 6 week stay (4 in E2) in SeaLodge, Princeville Kauai Hawaii.

Quiet location with a breathtaking view.

We enjoyed our stay very much!! The morning sunrises are stunning and the waves lull you to sleep. Condo was cute and had everything we needed. We will definitely be back!

Excellent view and stunning rental

We were very impressed by the cleanliness and location of the rental. The thoughtful details like the soaps and guest netflix account were such thoughtful touches! I will definitely return to this location and recommend it to others!
