• Temporary Restaurant Closures: Please be advised that Happy Talk Lounge and Wiki Wiki Pizza at Hanalei Bay Resort are temporarily closed due to hurricane-related damage and are expected to remain closed for approximately 4–6 months. A small coffee shop remains available on property during this time. Guests will also find additional dining options in nearby Princeville.
• No kitchen or kitchenette: cooking appliances (microwaves, hotplates, stoves, etc.) are not permitted by Kauai County ordinance
• No indoor dining area; guests often enjoy meals on the lanai or at nearby restaurants
• Third-floor location – no elevator access
• A mandatory mid-stay cleaning fee applies to reservations of 10 nights or more. For stays of 21 nights or longer, two mid-stay cleanings are required.
• Please note that this fee is separate from the departure cleaning fee collected at the time of booking. Our customer support team will coordinate the scheduling and apply the charges accordingly.
• Seasonal gnats: common during Hawaii’s winter months; keep doors and windows closed and screens secured to minimize presence
• Guest fees (subject to change): $50 one-time check-in, $25 daily resort fee, and $20 daily parking (if applicable). These fees are charged directly by the resort and are not included in the Elite Pacific by Gather quote.
