A mixed bag
First of all, the owners are swell! They helped us with everything and were always courteous. They also run a travel company and give discounts to people staying at the Fortaleza. About the rooms. We had in total two rooms in Fortaleza. It really matters whether you are staying at the court yard (views only to the yard, close to the dining area and doors so kind of noisy, smallish rooms) or at either suite in the tower (national park view, more privacy, bigger rooms). In my opinion, they could charge maybe more for the top room and less for the yard room... We had the top of the tower for a couple of nights, and it was huge! A balcony with a hammock, a rooftop terrace, big tv, large bathroom with windows to the park/sea. Also big spiders, which according to the owners are shy and harmless, but still. Breakfast was a delicious standard Galapagos breakfast and wifi works well compared to the local standard.
