Updated - had money go missing from my room, poorly handled by staff and refused to call police. Karen was absolutely useless to deal with today despite being helpful before. First day and a half was fine until the cleaning person came to clean the room and sprayed the tile floor with what I thought was cleaning solution but was told later it was perfume. I was told the floors were still wet because the AC was on. And the humidity was the issue. Well I turned the AC off 10 hours prior and the floors were not wet until they sprayed the floors. One lady at the counter told me it was my fault for having the AC on, then when I told her it was off. She told me that was also the issue. The manager quickly corrected the issue and moved me to a different room. The room was a slipping risk for 7 hours. I was also told I should have opened the window, but not for too long. Perhaps if you didn't spray liquid all over the entire tiled room to begin with, there wouldn't have been a hazard. Yet I was somehow to blame for the entire rooms floors still being wet. I slipped and almost fell several times, and even with sandals on moving into the next room I slipped twice. I'd like to know the science behind how it is both the AC being on and also the fault of it being off. Hotel is great, and the staff has been amazing up until this interaction.
