”Two nights ago I checked into this hotel after finishing a long white water rafting tour while on my way to San José. The property itself is pretty. It might be fine for people who want to stay on a resort property and not go out to explore the real Costa Rica. For a one night stop, however, this was easily the worst choice of my entire trip. ”the breakfast was great. the pool was a nice way to relax at the end of a long travel day. the staff was terrific. the grounds were a delight. flowers, birds, and butterflies everywhere. however, just an fyi: to those susceptible, like me there are pretty bad mosquitos. especially on the river walk. my wife noticed at the end of our stay that there is mosquito repellent at the desk. ”

”The couple who owns the place was very nice, accommodating and friendly. You have to pay attention when you first arrive, as the area is not marked very well. the beds were very comfortable and the view from the balcony was perfect. ”

”The place is clean and the kitchen is well-equipped. The view from the window is scenic. The host is very welcoming and we were treated with fresh coconut drink. She is also very friendly and helpful. I left my power adaptor in the room and she got it arranged straightaway for me to pick up.”

”Chambre très correcte et propre, grand lit confortable et agréable terrasse donnant sur un petit jardin où viennent les oiseaux et bel environnement .Petit déjeuner très complet. Gros avantage, l'accès à la réserve est inclus et illimité. Seul problème la mauvaise insonorisation des chambres, on entend les cousins comme si ils étaient avec nous.”

”Beautiful property right on the river. There are so many beautiful birds and gardens. A sloth hug out in the tree right outside the door. It was never more than 6 meters above the ground. Great closeup interaction. Just after midday a group of 30 plus monkeys slowly passed thru the trees on the riverbank. The host prepared dinner and breakfast and it was delicious.
