”Friendly welcome. Assigned room next to fellow travellers as requested. Wonderful spacious cosy room with luxurious toiletries. Very comfortable and nicely decorated. Reasonably priced evening meal - though small portions were huge! Lovely breakfast, with choice from 3 cooked as well as cereals and toast. Lovely stay. ”

”We stayed in Room 2, The Ercall, it was beautifully decorated, impeccably clean and the views were amazing. Excellent attention to detail with good selection of hot beverages in te room. Taxi into Shrewsbury town was £10 and 15 - 20 minutes. The staff at the Riverside Inn are its greatest asset, polite, friendly, knowledgeable bout the local area, made time to chat and had everything you needed for a pleasant stay. ”

”I stayed for two nights in the lovely Darwin room. It was spotlessly clean, comfortable and cosy, with everything I needed (hair dryer, iron and ironing board, tea and coffee making facilities, fresh water, toiletries). Breakfast in the mornings was fantastic! Chosen from a menu and freshly made to order it was high quality and non greasy. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The WiFi internet in the hotel is not very good with filtering for example Amazon app dosent work and Mobile phone coverage in the area is very weak The TVs in the bedroom are very small for this day and age ”

”The place is amazing, really well maintained and decorated. The staff were really attentive and helpful, especially Karen who did breakfast - she was fantastic with our kids and they couldn't wait to see her on our second morning! Food was lovely and room was very well equipped! We will be back!”
