”A small pub and hotel with very nice ambience and rooms. Friendly staff, nice breakfast and a cozy lounge. Single paned windows let in some road noise and chill.”

”It was an average hotel for the price. had to move rooms as the 1st room was damp. It's OK. a bit tired needs updating.”

”Overall, my experience was positive with a few minor drawbacks. My room was located in a separate building, just above the gym. There were no lifts, so this could be an issue for people with mobility issues. The room itself was on the smaller side but had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed and pillows were really comfy. However, one downside was the loud music coming from the gym. Even though my room was two floors above, the noise was noticeable and a bit disruptive at times...

”The building we were put in was out of the way and quite a walk from the main hotel. Not helpful when transporting luggage. But the hotel itself was clean, the breakfast was great and there was ample parking.”

”The room was lovely and bed supper comfy but then that would be expected as the room was expensive for what it was. Some biscuits with tea and coffee would have been nice. The toilet paper was very cheap quality which surprised me. Shower was fabulous and a good size. Tv was great quality and massive too. I hand the breakfast which was …’ok’ not bad but again quality was not great. Hash browns were not great at all a lacked flavour, texture and were like overcooked deep fried triangles of mash...

”Lovely stay. Really nice room, amazing staff from start to finish and a fantastic evening meal followed by an equally delicious breakfast. Would very much stay again.”

”The copper castle was an amazing place to stay, clean, comfortable, staff were amazing, children loved the animals and collecting egg's from the chickens in the morning. Owner's were very helpful and accommodating, will definitely be coming back for another stay.”

”We visited the hotel for a business meetings nearby. The place is very traditional English Inn. Nice pub with good food. The rooms are clean and ok, but the place is a little worn down. I a still like it.”

”Lift "Out of Order", Jacuzzi "Out of Order", Chef "Out of Order". This is not a 4 star hotel, they seem to be struggling to maintain it and staff it sufficiently. After waiting one hour ten minutes for our food, two out of three meals were awful; dry, tasteless and covered in red chillies to disguise them. Most staff were lovely, they have a tough job there though.”
