”Stylish classic style hotel. Polite and good service by a older gentleman in the lobby. We had a room from the upper floor with a view over the lake. The room was perfect, comfortable bed, large bathroom and a small balcony. The view over the lake is spectacular. Parking is a bit difficult, the hotel does not have it's own parking spaces. A few parking garages nearby, but the ramps were so steep our car could not get up. ”

I was a bit worried before checking in how the room would look like as pictures doesn't show the facilities quite well but was happy to find out the room was quite modern and comfortable for the price. AC could have been just a bit more efficient and it was not possible to adjust it from the room but this was something I didn't communicated with the staff as it still worked quite well,...

”I was in Verbania for three days with my daughter during her rhythmic gymnastics competition. This was a quiet and very well functioning place to stay while our short visit and stresful schedule with a long 14h day at the sports hall. The staff was extremely kind and kept good contact with us. The room was spacious and over all very clean. ”We stayed three nights at Il Porticciolo and found it very charming and cosy. Location right on the lake-front is fabulous and you can admire the scenery from your own balcony or the beautiful breakfast/dinner terrace. I'll remember nights on the balcony admiring the lights across the lake. Service was friendly and impeccable and the room very comfortable, I would definitely recommend this hotel.
