”So glad to have discovered this place- off the main roads. The whole experience was great- staff were lovely, dogs were made welcome too! Like stepping into an Agatha Christie movie, beautiful furnishings of an era in history. The grounds were well maintained and we loved the Monet Garden - with deer resting near the pond, all very magical.

”If The Ivy did hotels this is what they would be like. Beautiful decor, quirky layout and lovely hidden garden. Room felt luxurious and the bed was super comfy. We ate in the garden which was very relaxed, such a pretty setting. The breakfast was superb, eggy brioche with bacon was delicious and the continental selection was very high end. Latte and Americano coffees included which we've noticed that some hotels have started charging for - not good when you are paying a premium for your stay....
”We had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Stag. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated with an incredible bathroom, the staff were warm and welcoming, and breakfast was a solid 11/10. The pub itself has a great atmosphere, with a mix of friendly locals and fellow holiday makers. It’s also incredibly dog-friendly; they even served our pup his very own sausage in a bowl at breakfast, which was such a thoughtful touch. Parking is easy and convenient, just out the back of the pub. Perfectly...
