”Everything was close by the hotel.”

”The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was really low to the ground, so if you're fat, like me, then it took a while to roll out of it. The restaurant selection needs to improve too. The Hydraulic Bar was pretty lame when it came to food selection. The front desk staff was really good.”

”Door lock was broken. Door didn't fit properly. You could see straight through around the door when closed. Rooms were dirty. Breakfast was pretty much nothing. Pull out bed was unusable due to the mattress being so gross and old. Definitely not what i expect to get for an almoat $200 room.”

”I booked and paid for 2 queen beds and arrived at 315p, right at check in and was told the reservation was for a king, upon showing my confirmation email thru Expedia, the front desk person never checked to validate it. Gave me a king which wasn’t what I paid for and never once apologized, instead became argumentative saying they were booked a month plus out like I didn’t book a room. I will never stay here again. Need to train staff on how to say I’m sorry for the inconvenience. ”

”Loved the hotel, however our last day there for breakfast wasn’t the best. One of the staff members were overbearing. Was constantly in our way when making our waffles. Treated the adults like we were children. Very unacceptable in so many ways. We were monitored when making our waffles. I even was told I couldn’t add chocolate chips to my waffle mix. She tried telling us how long we should keep our waffles in the maker etc. my overall experience with this situation would prevent me from staying...

”I specifically booked an “accessible “ room for my mother since she cannot get around well and is in a wheelchair. The door to the room was so heavy it was difficult to open and wheel her inside. The tub had bars but no shower seat and the tub was very slippery for her. The beds were also very high and she had difficulty just getting on the bed from the wheelchair. ”My 1st time Staying at an Avid Hotel. Check-in was quick & the lady was very kind! Our room was 114 so right by the lobby, it was clean and quiet. We did have to ask for a roll of toilet paper because the 2 rolls on the hanger each maybe had 10 squares each. Not a big deal, though. My two dislikes? First to preface, the lady at check in said “the room has everything you need and nothing that you don’t.” Well the fridge in the room was very small & the only microwave was a small one in the lobby....

”I made reservations online got to the property. No one was at the desk called the phone number that was on the wall. Spoke to an individual who stated I would have to wait until the morning to check in. Mind you the ladder on the wall, stated that their hours on Saturday and Sunday or 10 PM to 6 AM. It was 11 PM and nobody was at the office. The man was rude. ”

”Checking in at early morning hours is a joke. They lock you outside and talk to you on a phone only to tell you they can’t find your itinerary number which is on your receipt they can’t find it in their system. Makes you wait outside at 2am until you find the 2nd receipt number only for you to have to call them again on the phone and be told she’s pumping for her “kid” in the NICU and you’re going to have to wait some more. Lady sounded like she was heavily intoxicated and in the clouds...
