Communication was mostly good. All bedrooms had a fantastic view so all guests had equal quality. It was great to have Rosie there everyday freshening up the bedrooms, the laundry and the towels. And our personal chef Angel was truly an Angel with his grandmothers recipes.

The house indeed has absolutely incredible ocean views - the photos don't show the expanse of ocean in front of you. It also has everything, often two or three of them, needed to cook, grill, watch any tv channel across the globe, sunbathe, etc. There is a large kitchen, dining area, and living room, and all of the amenities are in tip top shape. It was just right for our two families of eight (total) people. Cleaning and laundry is done daily, thoroughly and unobtrusively by Rosie. We used chef Glenda and her sous chef son one night for a truly memorable meal from start to finish. Definitely recommend, far better than a night out at a restaurant and a wide range of menu options.Beach is a short walk down the hill and goes on for miles of beautiful sand, mild surf, and lots of areas to have a drink or rent surfboards. There are casual restaurants and shops a short walk up the hill and there are several food delivery services.The concierge, Alex, was terrific. He arranged excellent tours (ATV, ziplining, boats, surfing lessons, nature walks) dinner reservations, and airport shuttles and local transportation (far easier and cheaper than renting our own vehicles). Even the most trivial issue (a loose screw in the handle of a sliding door) was fixed within an hour. We went during an off season, so Alex will be an even more valuable resource to make arrangements ahead of time during a busier time of the year.We enjoyed Casa Cristal completely.

Amazing house, great location with easy access to a more secluded beach, lots of food options, markets & souvenir stores within 5 min drive. The staff waa super friendly and helpful. Manager provided lots of information regarding where to eat and things to do near by that my group was interested in. Rosie kept the house cleaned daily and washed our clothes each day made me regret packing so many extra clothes just something to think about, save room in your bag for gifts to bring home. Highly recommend this place the view is one in a million you may also get some monkey visitors on the top deck.

Casa Cristal Exceeded Our Expectations

We spent a lovely four nights at Casa Cristal. The layout of the house was perfect for our extended family and the views are spectacular. Views of the ocean from every room. We enjoyed the infinity pool with swim up bar every afternoon and evening. We also enjoyed the monkey parade that showed up everyday on the terrace. So fun to watch. Alex was available at any time of the day to answer questions, make recommendations, and schedule tours. Rosie was also around daily to take care of the cleaning and laundry. We definitely would recommend and come back to Casa Cristal. Pura Vida!!

Wonderful stay

Multigenerational family trip from 6-80. House was wonderful! Amazing views, pool and nearby beach. Steep walk but both young and old made it. The house staff and host were excellent. Highly recommend a meal or 2 with Glenda and Angelo. Overall, great stay, service views, and meals (the scrambled eggs were amazing)

Beautiful view

The view from this property is amazing. The home is well kept. Rosie, our housekeeper, kept the home spotless everyday and even washed our clothes. We always had clean pool and beach towels. Alex, our host, was very helpful in arranging our tours and taxis. He even helped for groceries delivered to us the evening we arrived in order for us to have breakfast items the next morning. The home is in a very hilly area. It was too hilly for us to walk for groceries or restaurants. A taxi ride was generally ten to fifteen dollars. The pool is amazing and the views were spectacular. We would definitely recommend this home.

Great vacation!

We just got back from Casa Cristal and are already thinking about going back. The house was as listed but the location was better than expected. Everything about it was beautiful. So much space to everyone. We didn't rent a car but walking to the beach and town was very convenient. The host, Alex, was very helpful in organizing the excursions we planned on doing and had transportation to and from activities. We hired a chef for a night and when we decided to add 3 more nights, he organized that as well. We went with our 2 sons and their girlfriends that are twentysomething and we all thought it was the best vacation ever. All of us want to go back and would definitely stay here again!

Paradise in Costa Rica

We sooo loved this house and area. Our family of 9 and three generations enjoyed the view, the pool, the house, the occasional visits of monkeys, sloth, iguanas, and birds Alex was a wonderful host and helped us before to plan tours, during by ordering transportation and ordering groceries, etc. and he lined up transportation from and to the airport in San Jose. He was the best! We loved Rosie the maid. We all wanted to take her home with us. She kept the home sparkling clean and even washed our clothes. The chef service was also a nice touch- Glenda prepared three delicious dinners including lobsters for a Thanksgiving feast. We loved everything about this home and the attentive staff. We all already miss Costa Rica and Casa Cristal- we will return!!!

Great views, gorgeous home, excellent location

We stayed as a family of six - grandparents, parents and teen/kids and very much enjoyed this property. The house is very beautiful and well appointed, with lots of living spaces to hang out inside and out. The views are spectacular and we saw many birds and monkeys from the balcony overlooking the ocean. Rosy, the housekeeper, does an excellent job keeping everything tidy and does laundry every day! Alex, the property manager, is very helpful and offers help with whatever you request. Would recommend.

Perfect in every way!

The house is perfect, the views are perfect, Alex and his team were perfect! The house pics do not due the "views" justice, they are better IRL. The beach was fantastic (about a 10 min walk...a bit uphill on the way back). Alex set up several day trips and chef nights for us...extremely seamless! The area of Manuel Antonio was amazing. We will be coming back.

The housekeeper and the entire property staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, ensuring that our stay was both comfortable and memorable. Living with a million dollar view

My 3 siblings with our spouses spent 8 days at Casa Cristal and the Villa made a great vacation outstanding. The initial entry shows a magnificent view of the Pacific from Manuel Antonio almost to Quepos. The spacious 4/5 bedrooms were more than enough for our 8 people and the kitchen/living and upstairs grill area provided space for all of us to spread out. While the facilities were great, what really made our stay was the people. The maid took care of all the housekeeping including washing all our clothes, the chefs we hired made outstanding meals and the best was the host --- who took care of every single desire and need, extremely promptly. It was a holiday we will never forget and we DO plan to come back to this place.
