Casa Anaka istuu ylhäällä Manuel Antonion korkeimmista kohdista. Tämä hiljattain rakennettu kahden makuuhuoneen huvila (juuri lisätty Homeawayn helmikuun 18. päivänä 2019) tarjoaa 360 asteen näkymän lepäävälle Tyynenmeren rannikolle, majesteettisille vuoristoalueille ja palmuista.

We just completed a six-night stay at Casa Anaka and wanted to share that it was a fabulous experience. We highly recommend it.Our host ensured a smooth arrival. The house was spotless, and the housekeeping staff returned it to perfection every other day. The grounds and landscaping are immaculate and well-tended. The pool area was clean and tidy — all the better for enjoying the valley view below and mountains in the distance.And, as an unexpected bonus, a family of Scarlett Macaws nest nearby. One morning, we watched them roost in a tree across the pool, feeding a juvenile. We also were frequented by two toucans, and saw many other species from our deck.The trade-off for private, secure and very quiet lodging in the foothills is that you’ll need either a SUV or reliance on Uber/taxis with good road clearance. We used Uber Comfort and had no issues other than a couple 10-15 minute waits. Rides were 5-10, including tip.

Most amazing stay I’ve ever had! Camilo kept great communication beforehand, but wasn’t overbearing. He even sent a video making it very clear how to get to the house. He then personally came by the next day to answer questions, give advice, etc. One day we just wanted to stay in and have pizza delivered, so I asked him for a recommendation (which he gave), but since it is a little different than it is back home, he just asked for our order, then he called and ordered it and set up delivery, then just texted me a link to pay. So easy! Now the house was fantastic. Everything you could want was there. Plenty of dishes to use, countless towels, etc. But even down to the smallest details they had set up, like there were several bottles of water in the fridge waiting on us and there were umbrellas available when we needed them! Things like that which we didn’t even think of beforehand. And the location was perfect. Easy to get to Manuel Antonio or Quepos quickly. So many great restaurants nearby. And the views from the house were straight out of a movie. We saw squirrel monkeys, macaws, and Toucans within feet of us. It was magical! If I’m ever in Costa Rica again, I will be staying at this same location and I pray Camilo is still there. 5 stars isn’t high enough for what I would rate this experience!

Beautiful Getaway

Casa Anaka is a beautiful place to stay in Manuel Antonio. It was spotless and well stocked with everything we needed. Camilo, the property concierge,was so helpful from booking our excursions, greeting us upon arrival, to answering random questions with rapid response time! Housekeeping arrived every other day and she even did our personal laundry for us if we needed it. The pool was a great place to relax after a day of excursions. We loved it!!!!

Beautiful home with helpful concierge

We had a fantastic 4-night stay at Casa Anaka. The home is beautiful, comfortable, and well-appointed, with a fully stocked kitchen. We arrived to a stocked fridge and a delicious private chef dinner—perfect after a long travel day. Camilo, the concierge, was incredibly helpful throughout our stay, arranging tours, making dinner reservations, and coordinating the chef. We saw scarlet macaws, resident iguanas, and heard howler monkeys in the distance. The 10-in-1 adventure tour was a highlight—highly recommend.A few things to note: the layout is a bit tricky, especially for families with younger kids. One bedroom is completely separate from the main house and only one key is provided, which made nightly logistics more complicated. We had to leave the key with our kids and re-enter our room through a lower-level door. It would be helpful if two sets of keys were available and if the main house could be locked from the inside without a key.There’s also a large green tarp along one side of the property that detracts slightly from the view. A home is being built next door—no noise, but we were surprised a couple of times by people using the shared driveway. Some road noise is also noticeable from the pool area. Despite these minor things, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely return.

Beautiful views and exceptional communication

We had a wonderful stay. While swimming in the pool we saw scarlet macaws and toucans and heard howler monkeys in the distance. From the house you can watch the sunset over the ocean or look out over the forest. Camilo was amazing at booking all of our adventures and coordinating restaurant reservations. The house was close to the park, restaurants, and the beach. Highlights were the night tour, exploring Manuel Antonio, and having chefs prepare a delicious meal.

Most amazing vacation ever

From the initial decision to book the reservation until the final day, everything was seamless. Our concierge, Camilo was always there to answer every question, plan our stay according to our interests and take care of every activity as well as transportation to and from those activities. His responses were almost immediate, no matter the time. The home was in a perfect location, within a gated area on top of the mountains, with a view of the ocean and the jungle. Costa Rican wildlife was everywhere. Our property had macaws every morning, lots of iguanas, including one nicknamed Tony by past residents that lived by our front door and several other birds including toucans would show up periodically. We saw capybaras and coatimundis on our road and sloths lived in some nearby trees. We could also hear the howler monkeys in the distant jungle (kinda scary at first). The activities that Camilo set up for was were all incredible. The national park is full of sloths, howler monkeys, lizards, crabs, etc during daylight and tarantulas, frogs, scorpions, spiders and venomous snakes at night. Scuba diving at Caño island with sharks, turtles, rays, etc is breathtaking. Jungle horseback riding was beautiful and educational. Jeep tour through jungle to waterfalls was incredible. Just be aware of the 400 ft suspension bridge that you will need to walk across if you are afraid of heights. And we even got to see a humpback whale during our catamaran tour!

Great Stay!

My family of 6 enjoyed a week in this property. We found the house to be very spacious, clean, and had everything we needed for our vacation. The pool was a great plus as well! I would highly recommend this wonderful home!

This place is just beautiful amazing views. Everything is as described on the listing. Camilo is very helpful and the chef cooks amazing. Overall, my kids and our family enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property.

A week in paradise in this incredible home!

I’m not one to give high scores until they are merited — This is merited! Everything about our stay here was absolutely perfect. Camilo was incredibly helpful answering my questions before we arrived, during, and after. I can’t say enough about his patience and attentiveness. The housecleaning and landscaping staff were friendly and worked around our schedule so we could have privacy and still have their services. This home’s kitchen is fully stocked so we made several meals there. We gave Camilo a list of groceries, as we arrived very late the first night. He stocked our fridge and for a reasonable cost, at my partner’s request, he had a beautiful, local exotic flower arrangement waiting for my birthday! Camilo was so accommodating and went out of his way to ensure we had what we needed. With a 15-20 minute notice, he arranged taxis for us to come/go to beach, excursions, airport, etc. The home was beautiful and relaxing, overlooking the valley on one side, the beach in the distance on the other. The two bedrooms and full baths were well stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash along with plenty of towels. There is an onsite washer/dryer and detergent. The private pool was the perfect temp and we spent a few days relaxing there. There is an outdoor shower on the other side of the building to rinse off after a day at the beach. The bedrooms have blackout curtains and comfortable beds. I travel frequently and this VRBO home is one of the best!

Tranquil vacation

Can’t say enough good things about our experience in this lovely place! The home is beautiful with panoramic views from every angle! You can watch the sunrise poolside with your morning coffee and close the day with the sunset and wine! Camilo our vacation concierge went above and beyond to make sure we had a good time. He even booked our excursions and transportation and was always available to answer our questions! We enjoyed the personal chef meal which was fabulous! We can’t wait to visit again! Pura Vida!

Spectacular!!

Casa Anaka was a dream!! We spent three nights in the Quepos area while visiting Costa Rica and truly enjoyed our stay here. The villa is SPECTACULAR with views of the sunrise over the mountain and the sunset over the ocean. It has a pool too which was welcome after a long/hot/activity filled day. Camilo, the concierge, was extremely helpful and communicative all throughout the stay. He arranged for us to have groceries already at the house when we arrived and coordinated a private chef for our first dinner. It was a great idea after a long travel day! The maid service was great too. They did our laundry which was unexpected and very welcome. We truly loved our stay at Casa Anaka and hope to be back in the future!! Thank you!!

Paradise!

Beautiful home with stunning views of jungle and ocean. The home was well stocked with all the basics. The pool and patio area was the highlight of the property. On arrival we were greeted by Camillo the property manager. He helped us settle in, which made us feel at home. The location could not have been better.

Perfect Stay!!!

We had a wonderful vacation with a group of 16 friends. Everything about the trip was perfect. Camilo setup transportation, cars, trips, etc. All were top notch, amazing operators and great fun. Chef Ronald and the whole house crew took extremely good care of us and all our absurdities throughout the week. I think we might have broken the record for amount of wine consumed, but it was always paired with amazing food options cooked up. We caught a bunch of tuna one day which they prepared perfectly.
