I was in town for one night because my son had a wrestling tournament. I booked this hotel through Expedia not knowing what to expect. I pulled up to the hotel and I immediately thought oh boy what have I gotten myself into. Not because it looked bad but there was a temporary sign over the original sign so I knew it had been recently renovated. I walked into the lobby and to my surprise the hotel lobby was beautifully done. It felt very warm and inviting. I walked up to the front desk and the clerk was so sweet. You could tell she was a little nervous so I had small talk with who I believe might of been the owners while she continued to check me in. She explained everything to me in detail and I took my key and made my way to the elevator.
The hallways are long with ample places to sit and relax if you don't want to be in your room. I opened my room door and wow again it was beautifully renovated, huge, clean, and smelled great! The carpet was clean, the linen was clean, the room was so inviting. The TV has every channel you need plus more. I proceeded to the bathroom for a shower and it was spotless. The water was hot and the towels were soft and crisp white. I crawled into bed and it was so comfortable, soft mattress, high thread count linens and the pillows were just right. I slept like a baby!
If you’re ever in Quincy Illinois please stay at the Heritage Hotel. You won’t be disappointed! It’s a hidden gem!
