”Myself and my partner only stayed for one night. The cabin was very clean and cosy with everything we needed for our short break. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent, things that not all places we have stayed get right. We used it as a stop off on our trip to photograph the mountains and surrounding areas, this was the perfect stop off for what we wanted. Thank you for the stay, it made our break, we will definitely be booking again.”

”Fantastiskt mysigt boende med nära till vacker natur och sevärdheter. Ligger uppe på en pub och tyvärr är det väldigt lyhört, även mellan rummen och från gatan. Men det erbjuds öronproppar. Trevlig personal som tipsade om saker att se, otroligt stora portioner både vid frukosten och middag. Om man är känslig mot dofter varnar jag för att det stod doftpinnar på rummet samt andra doftspridare som luktade väldigt starkt. Vi ställde ut som utanför rummet. Väldigt lätt att hitta parkering. ”Drumee Lodge is a beautiful property, in a picturesque location, close to the Mourne Mountains. The property is stunning and the hosts are fantastic. They were both so welcoming and made our stay so special, including leaving chocolates and a birthday card, in our room. Highly recommended to stay. We will stay again ”

”Room clean, spacious but cold, hotel was cold in general. Dinner was good but portions were small. Breakfast was ok. Overall just ok. ”

”A truly wonderful find! Quiet, convenient, clean well appointed cottage, with attentive, friendly hosts. Good parking, near enough (by car) to the Mourne Mountains, Murlough, Tyrella and Ballykinler beaches and Newcastle. About a 45 min drive from Belfast. A great haven for peaceful outdoor pursuits or just getting away from it all. Will happily stay again! ”

You have a coastal walk of Strangford Lough, an amazing Castle, all the village amenities and great pubs, with the Dufferin Arms providing that that fantastic Irish atmosphere and experience (stones throw from Driftwood. The owners of Driftwood could not do enough to make you feel welcome and were on hand to any questions. Massive thank you to Jo. Exceptional value and highly recommended. ”
