”Cool property, very safe with cams and code-locked door. No issues with noise, had a pretty quiet peaceful stay. Good parking situation, that’s something I was worried about but we never had problems parking. Unit is very close to transit lines. My girlfriend and I were out walking very late and never felt unsafe in this area. ”

”Our room was lovely, the bed was comfy. Lots of lighting and temperature options so we slept like a baby. The bathroom is shared with other guests, so as long as you have courteous fellows, it was a spacious, clean bathroom. We didn't spend much time in the large living area, but it was easy to check in and check out and lock ourroom door as each room has its own key. Thank you!”

”Hotel Blake is a fantastic option when staying in the Loop in downtown Chicago. Great location within the city and close proximity to all the train lines. Staff was super kind and helpful. Room was great, no complaints at all. Surprisingly good coffee available for guests each morning. Would definitely stay here again!”
”If you are wanting a cheap motel for the night, this is it. Just keep in mind that it’s cheap for a reason. Upon arrival, we noticed a used needle/syringe on the ground. The sheets of the bed were stained so we had to ask for new ones. The shower leaked, there was no mini fridge/kitchenette, no lamps or additional lighting. Not a big deal for a one night stay but maybe for longer periods. The actual place was dirty beyond repair (the stairs, the railings, the storage rooms, the roof overhang)....
”Needed a budget place for just sleeping in a central Chicago. For that purpose excellent choice due its location (metro + walking distace everywhere). Quiet+clean hotel and safe location. The attached pub on the street level is nice. Would come next time for a similar trip.
Would need a bit of renovation already and definitely more power sockets around the room table ;) Some coffee to go and small stuff to eat in the lobby during mornings would be great. ”
