”Staff was great as always. The rooms are always clean and breakfast is good and hot. The only issue is the king beds are high off the floor making it difficult for a person under 5'5" to get on. La Quinta may think about lowering them on their next renovation. ”

”everything was great”

”Once upon a time I am sure this place was really nice. We stayed for a golf event, otherwise I would not stay here. We stayed in the executive suite area. The room was outdated and the pullout couch was very worn, torn, broken and uncomfortable. Our smoke alarm battery was old, so it was beeping. The buildings in general could use some upkeep. The room was very overpriced. ”

”Room smelled like wet dog. Breakfast was less than appealing. Only fruit was apples, no yogurt. We are not very picky people but we've crossed this one off our list to stay at in the future.”

”The breakfast is not really anything. And the toilet sits really low. The beds were not the most comfortable ”

”The bed was nothing but springs. My daughter and I both woke up with our bodies sore. The shower curtain wouldn’t stay up by the shower head so the bathroom floor was flooded when I got out. I used all the towels to dry that up and asked the blonde lady at the front desk if we could have towels. She said she would have them bring me some… my daughter and I were out all day came back to the same wet towels. Was suppose to stay all weekend but left Saturday evening once we got back.”

”Good breakfast”

”We had a great experience with Dawson Inn. The room was exceptionally clean and smelled fresh. The Manager, Lisa, was very friendly. There is a gas station and small store next to the hotel where we purchased made-to-order sandwiches and water on our way to the New River Gorge National Park. The hotel is 15 min away from the Sandstone Falls Visitor's Center. The price is right and a gem for those visiting the area or just passing through.”

”The property was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was very good. Quite a few choices were offered. Checking in and out was simple. Excellent location for activities at the fair grounds. Our room was so big and we had plenty of pillows and extra bedding. I would stay here again.”

”Clean room and very good staff”

”We stopped overnight at this property which is right off the highway in the center of Summersville so very convenient. Lisa waited on us at the reception desk and was very friendly and knowledgeable. The room was clean and quiet with plenty of towels. Breakfast started early at 6 am and had many options and all were fresh. ”

”Breakfast could have been better. There was no eggs, gravy or biscuits. There is a Bob Evens next door. The room and property were very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking for our pickup and trailer. We will stop there again! ”

”Carpet was dirty, no place for toiletries in bathroom, bathroom door didn’t latch, had to ask for hot water to make tea, only one handicapped parking spot. Convenient location but overpriced.”

”Clean and quiet easy in and out”

”They claimed to have a restaurant when i booked the room.This is why i picked them because all the other hotels had breakfast included which have low grade food.I thought the breakfast should be better.It was not.The food at breakfast was low quality,very disappointing,,had trouble eating it ,I expected better than paying for such poor quality food.For this reason I would never stay there again or recommmend it to anyone.I felt misled and cheated.The room and hotel however was a good experience...

”The breakfast and the ladies in charge of the breakfast were great. The pool area was too hot, the heat stayed on.The hot tub did not have enough water in it. The room set up was small. I’d stay here again if I had to. I was there for a family function. ”
