”Location is good on upper state street- easy walking to restaurants and shopping. Price was low - hotel was pretty quiet considering location. Felt safe enough - ample and free parking. A very basic hotel - no amenities, not super clean feeling. Better in rooms than from parking lot. Would not stay again - akin to a motel 6.”

”The property was old but well maintained. It has enough parking and the staff was very helpful. The room was not big but enough for 2 adults and 2 kids (10, 12 yo).”

”The gentleman who checked me in was very warm and professional - he said “welcome back” which was true but he made me feel welcome like an old friend coming home. I travel to Goleta for business and ALWAYS stay at your hotel. I also love that the pillows and bedding smell fresh - I had one of the best night’s of sleep I can remember on the road 👍”

”The pool and breakfast were good. The room we had smelled bad and the buttons on the air conditioner were broken. There were many construction trucks parked on the property and a few of those construction workers were smoking heavily. There are signs all over that say this is a non smoking facility. I reported this to the front desk. Nothing was done about it. The workers continued to smoke. I will not stay at this facility again.”

”I’m not going into details on why I’m giving this hotel a 3 star except that it was primarily based on the bathroom. This was a last minute reservation.”

”Quiet place. Room I stayed with no odd smell. The only thing I don't like is that the paper cup on the coffee maker stand has bad smell that I have to throw right away.”

”The property is nice looking but our room had peeling paint and a lot of rust around the shower. The tile floor felt gritty”

”We loved everything about this property. Very close to State street and in a quiet neighborhood. Very clean and everything that was offered inside of the rooms, kitchen, and bathroom were great! I just really wish the property had a pool and hottub! Just a personal preference lol We all favored the lounge area on the third floor!”

”There are people permanently living in this hotel. Not sure where they were living before but there are some serious characters that hangout in the lobby and around the property. Did not feel very safe. Would not recommend for anyone with a family or children.”
