”A really amazing property and possibly my favorite of our week long trip. We were only here one night, but it was perfect. The view was incredible and the space very clean. ”Stayed in one of the cottages and it was awesome. The view was phenomenal, really unbelievably beautiful. The mountain with a few waterfalls. It was very clean and modern. If you include breakfast they deliver it to your cottage. Was sorry we were only staying a single night.”

”The property itself was immaculate. Great indoor and outdoor areas and a well equipped kitchen for preparing meals (there are no restaurants around the area). There is also a washer and dryer so you can do laundry. The only downside are the road conditions to the property; they are rocky and not well paved. The hotel does not have a proper check in / front desk, so locating the exact building for me to pay for the stay was a bit challenging. ”

”The Hekla Cabins are three, wonderful little cabins just off one of the main roads through the area. The cabin comfortably fit two, but there's a pullout couch (at least in Cabin One) for an additional sleeper. ”This cabin and guest house was just right for our group of 4. We had one couple and a father with adult son. It was easy to find and located where starry skies and northern lights were amazing. It was clean with basic amenities and the owners were easy to communicate with. Hot tub was clean. Note that the twin beds are in a loft with very low ceiling. Perfect for kids but slightly tight for adults. Nearest store is in Selfoss so plan accordingly. ”

”The house was exactly as pictured. It was clean, modern, and spacious for our group. The beds were set up to accommodate our group dynamics (couples versus singles) and extra pillows provided. ”Es war ein atemberaubender Aufenthalt.. dass ganze cottage ist mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet.. die Schwestern waren immer erreichbar und hatten viele Tipps und Ratschläge.. vom cottage aus kann man alle Sehenswürdigkeiten im golden Circle , im Süden bis nach Keflavik und Reykjavik besuchen.. die Küche hat alles geboten so dass kochen und backen entspannt möglich war.. wir würden jederzeit wieder dieses Haus buchen”

”Top tier spot. Clean, warm in the winter, very responsive owners. Plenty of local stuff to do nearby like waterfall walks, Caves of Hella, wool market, and a cute cafe. A great middle point for exploring golden circle and south coast. ”

"Everything was pretty much excellent. Super nice staff :) only few thing they could do better is related to the breakfast (which was included to the price that was also quite fine for Iceland): they could add labels to the foods. On the other hand there were a great selection of foods and also vegan options so I can only recommend this place highly."
