”We were very delighted to stay at Askot Cottage. Stayed here 3 nights and the beds were cozy, property was clean. Was cool to enjoy the horses in the field. They had a little cute shopping booth, very thoughtfully decored. The couple that owns this place is very sweet, and we would recommend this cottage to anyone!”

”Very nice cottage. Comfortable with all desired amenities. Great place to get away and feel closer to the surroundings. Only caution is on warm days, the cottage has no AC and can get very warm.”

”Lovely cabin :well appointed: comfortable bed. But long drive from town 28km and half of it is (currently) a gravel road. It’s a beautiful place. We walked across field to waterfall. Views of the volcano. Nice respite but know you have a drive from the highway/town”

”We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The only downside was that it felt a bit chilly, and we couldn’t find any instructions on how to adjust the heating. The property is quite remote, so we strongly recommend using a 4x4 vehicle to avoid getting stuck in a snowstorm, as we nearly did. Despite this, we highly recommend this property—it’s a fantastic place to stay!”

”Nice cottage near VIK ! Clean and well
Equipped! The check in was totally self check in and self check out that is amazing. Just disregarded that they say that the check in should be done before 9pm. Actually they will send you a code to self access your cottage . The cottages are about 10 yrs old but well maintained.”

”If you like being out of the way Afternoon Cottages is a great jumping off point for adventuring. It is well equipped and very clean. It has a great price point and very basic. It worked great for us because it was simply a place to cook dinner and sleep. You have access to all the necessities about 25 minutes away in Hella. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.”
