”It’s a fantastic lodge in the middle of the kungör. The cabins are very rustic, but has electricity and a private bathroom. Wi-Fi in the public building. Good food, wine and beer in the restaurant. Nice tours in the jungle and fantastic personel. If you don’t expect a five star hotel, than you get a five star experience.”
”My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed La Finca Azul, and especially the family whose vision it is -- including Nacho, Oli, and Cece, the three dogs. I've stayed in agroturismos in Italy, and this was a very similar experience, complete with the fabulous food. I'm pretty sure Italy doesn't offer swimming by yourself in a mountain stream surrounded by the echoes of howler monkeys. ”
”Perfect base for visiting the Poas Volcano and other sights in the area. From the hotel you can see the volcano so no guessing the weather and it's just a short ride to the national park. The hotel and rooms are modern and cozy, nice sofas with small fireplace to enjoy in the lobby area. Good restaurant.”

”I loved my stay at La Selva and ended up extended it by an extra day. You feel fully immersed in wildlife and free to explore. A memorable moment was being on the hanging bridge in the dark with bats flying everywhere, my torch picked out the eyes of a caiman in the river and a great potoo flew overheard and along the river. Breathtaking! ”
”The location is beautiful, safe, and picturesque. Breakfast was delicious, with something slightly different each day, and it was delivered right to our chalet. I stayed for 4 nights with my two teenage kids, and they absolutely loved the cosy look and feel of the chalet. Since it’s a mountain area, the mornings and evenings can get quite chilly, and rain can come at any time. Thankfully, the electric heated mattresses kept us warm and comfortable. ”It rains quite often, so there is always water in the waterfalls, which are quite magnificent. You can handfeed toucans and hummingbirds in the park. In the hotel room's balcony there is a hummingbird feeder so that you can watch them very close. The tour to volcano Poas was a disappointment. The staff advised us to reserve the tour on a previous day, when you have no idea about the weather in the mountain. We didn't see anything there.”

"Convenient location close to the airport, shuttle buses operate 24 hrs and the hotel sends you information about the details before arrival. The staff at the breakfast was amazing and very friendly, especially Raúl who brought me fresh fruits from the kitchen 😊."
