”Great hotel for an overnight trip. Easy check in with polite and efficient staff. Rooms were very spacious and bathroom spotless and modern. Would recommend. Worth noting it’s not in the centre so it’s a short uber ride in. Also it is right next to the football stadium but no games when we stayed so not an issue. Perfect stay if you were going to a match.”

”It was a clean and budget friendly hotel, it had no aircon or fans so it was unbearable to sleep at night in hot weather. Had everything I needed but couldn’t wait to get out the room.”

”We were very well looked after by Shaan & Sef who must be the one prepared our breakfast which was freshly made and ample every morning . The room was clean and spacious enough for us & our dog Rocky. Tumbleweed is a good place to stay for a few days to visit the local attractions, such as Sherwood Forest, nearby. It is a heaven for dog owners and joggers. I jogged with my dog along the Well Lane & The Avenue every morning and walked my dog on the couple of bridal ways nearby in the evening....

”I have stayed at the Peacock a few times now as the location is stunning and the rooms never fail to disappoint. They are clean and the bathrooms always have the wow factor. The food in the restaurant is also great, the only downside was the service, we didn’t get our wine for over half an hour and had to ask three times for it from different staff. However I will be back again! ”
