”I have to say I waa really surprised at how nice this place was. The only issue for me (being a bigger bloke) was i couldn't fit in the shower as it only has a s.mall opening but I was able to get around .”

”What a lovely hotel! This kind of hotels is the reason we love to visit UK; they are unique, beautifully decorated and the service is wonderful! The room was tiny but beautiful and it had everything we needed. It was very quiet and warm. The breakfast was very good and the dinner at the pub was excellent. We would love to go back!”

”Check in was no frills. We arrived half an hour before check in and was offered a room but for an extra fee. I accidentally booked the room for one person so had to pay an extra £12 for breakfast which was fair enough but on check out an additional £10 for the extra person which I thought was unfair.”

”The hotel is very dated. The room we were in was small, which wasn’t a problem, apart from it was stuffed full of 90’s furniture - we were literally tripping over it and each other. The door hit into the bed as we walked in, there four sets of drawers (12 drawers!), a fridge, bed (very small), tub chair and massive TV. Yes, you read that right, 12 drawers in a tiny room - who needs 12 drawers, in addition to a large hanging area?! The decor was very dated, paint and wallpaper peeling off the...

”Original old rooms but full of character. Comfortable bed, tea and coffee. Lovely river view with outside tables and chairs. Had dinner and breakfast which were very good. Ample parking”

”Great location and quiet room . The couple who own the property are both lovely and helpful. The room has all the amenities you could wish for , they have considered what a guest might want or need . You can park off street . The room was a little on the small side but adequate for one or two nights . The continental breakfast is adequate and the fresh coffee as very good . The property was full so the breakfast room was too and we felt a little bit close to other tables .”
