”Good location very near Thamel, but on a bit quieter street so less noise. Hot shower, very good breakfast. The basic room had no window and could have been cleaner (stains on sheets). Wifi in the room worked fine, nice view over the city from the roof terrace.”

”Location in the beautiful and peacefull forest near the Kathmandu and its international airport is excelent. The service is almost excelent too. The spa was very good and the food in the hotel was very good too. You can play golf, or take a guide to the forest and see deers and monkeys a lot, or just go to relaxing spa. ”Definitely go for the club rooms on the 7 th floor views over the Capitol are breathtaking. Use of lounge tea ,coffee or soda 12 till 6 pm 6till 8 pm complimentary wine ,Beer , and the basic spirits. With snacks make this a very good experience at good value. ”Great location in Thamel and interesting concept and design that are consistent throughout the hotel. Beautiful courtyard, lovely room, a true boutique hotel. Exceptionally good breakfast, as it is ordered from the menu, so everything is fresh, unlike in the buffets of most other hotels in Thamel. Reception staff and assistant staff members were very helpful, but wifi kept cutting off and often you had to wait for service at the restaurant for quite long. ”I first used the hotel in 2009 and was very happy with it, so it was easy to go back this second time. Ganesh Himal's staff is very helpful and always smiling. The room was cleaned daily and I like the fact that it is not in central Thamel with all the hawkers. So I would recommend using the hotel.”
