”Absolutely disgraceful and completely thieving business! If I could give less than 1 star I would. I stayed at this Pub in Dec 25 and the accommodation was booked and paid for weeks prior with a well known and reputable third party. Upon arrival it was questioned whether I had paid for the accommodation and I advised the lady that yes it was paid for already and I showed her the receipt. ”Staff in the restaurant/spa bar/spa were really helpful and pleasant. The indoor pool was great. Sadly we didn't get to use the outdoor pool as it rained but it did look very nice. View from our room was lovely too. We booked breakfast on one day but found it too much after dinner the previous night. We ate at taste of Cornwall one night. The food was very good but the room was very dark and the music stopped a couple of times and nobody around to turn it back on, so lacked a nice ambience.”

”We had a wonderful stay in Cornwall. Helen was an absolute star our entire stay, from a cream tea ready for our arrival, to posting some forgotten inhalers back to us in Leeds after we had left! The accomodation is beautiful and quiet, with everything you need to relax and enjoy your stay. We found it to be very peaceful and loved having the ability to cook our own food with the aid of plenty of supermarkets nearby. This accomodation is not one to be missed!”

”The interior of the property was disappointing. Beds were not made and the pillows were very poor. The kitchen was perfect, the living room average, and the toilets were very clean and tidy. The shower space is very small, so I wouldn’t recommend it, but I understand that is a limitation of the property. The staff welcomed us well, but at checkout I had a negative experience. ”The staff were great but the rooms were a bit cramped especially the bathrooms. There were problems with television reception breaking up. The hotel is in a nice location and the food was fine.”

We were under the impression that there was only one hut but we spotted 4 altogether. The reason I wanted the one in the photo was because it was close to the toilets as I have a stomach/digestion disorder and have to use the toilet during the night.
