The hotel room was very comfortable great bathroom with plenty of hot water. The breakfast was very good quality ingredients. All the staff were polite and friendly very nice stay and we would definitely recommend.

We loved the breakfast menu that was included in the room price. The rooms had an old county cottage feel. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Very friendly staff . Room clean and facilities good . Breakfast was delicious with large range of choice . We also ate dinner in their restaurant which was outstanding. We will definitely retun to The Portreath Arms again .

Rooms clean and lovely. Was mix up with being booked with dog into room for no dogs but they were able to make switch with other room so all ok in the end.

Excellent restaurant with great evening meal menu options, breakfast was also great. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly. Very pleasant stay.

This centrally located hotel offers lovely accommodation with friendly staff and a wonderful breakfast. It has generous rooms with comfortable beds too.

Excellent place to stay
Absolutely fantastic place to stay. Room was comfortable, clean and cosy. Slept really well! Restaurant was good and the live music was good fun in the bar. Really recommend it. Favourite overnight on this coast path trip

Great food, sleep and location
Not a lot of parking, but we were able to park in the car park. Location is great, people very friendly and food in restaurant was fantastic, which was nice not to have to go out for dinner. Room was very clean, with a comfortable bed meaning we slept well. There was live music on in the bar and we were unduly worried about potential noise, we didn't hear it at all. I would highly recommend.

From check in to departure the whole experience was excellent. Cleanliness is apparent throughout all of the accommodation. The food was excellent. Staff are very friendly.

The pub was OK. It is not accessable at all, if you have any access issues it is not the place for you. It is on many levels with steps everywhere. We stayed for two nights. There was noise from the pub and smokers on the car park until the early hours. There was also boy racers going up and down the road almost until first light. On Saterday night there is live music - great if that is what you have gone to the pub for. Once more early hours thia pub does not close early!

Traditional "Inn" with real quality
A real gem... they have really got this right. They have retained the village bar atmosphere with a quality Dining lounge and excellent rooms. Both Dinner and breakfast were of the highest quality. Well staffed , a great nights sleep and one to come back to if out that way

Really nice place and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very hot so a fan would have been a great benefit. Quite noisey from drinkers sitting out but it was a party so possibly not the norm. Overall a very nice stay.

The room was exceptionally clean and a lovely haven to relax and recuperate after a mammoth hike the day before and carrying my backpack around for a few days. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and I was really happy to see that their vegan options were options, rather than one choice! I was also pleased to see their commitment to sustainability as they refill toiletries, recycle and pass on food waste to a local farm - a rarity for hotels. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. It was lovely to come down to breakfast and the staff member had remembered that I’m vegan, and offered me non-dairy milk - it felt like a real personal touch. I would definitely stay here again if I were in Portreath in future.

Was perfect for staying over for a night after a long days walk and room was modern, tidy and had everything you’d expect. Shared bathrooms also in good condition. Pub below were happy to fit me in and food was great at dinner and breakfast. My only criticism would be that the walls of the room I was in were very thin and I could hear everything the people next door were talking about and watching so not sure i could be there for several days; It was tolerable for me who was so tired I was out like a light.

It’s another super positive review from me. Loved The Portreath Arms, friendly & amazingly hardworking staff, she’s know who she is! A really well stocked bar with an ace ♠️ range of beers, fantastic room, it was so comfy. All topped of with the best Cornish breakfast ever! Couldn’t fault it!

Only stayed one night but right on the coast path. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the decor throughout very tasteful. Great breakfast, would stay again .

Unpretentious high quality
Lovely place! Friendly atmosphere, excellent food. I stayed at a 5 star hotel a couple of nights before with Michelin starred restaurant in Port Gaverne, these guys are so much more deserving of those accolades. Highly recommend!

Great bolt hole in a fab place
Loved our stay at the Portreath Arms. The decor throughout is so tastefully done. Extremely friendly staff. Great food, especially the breakfast. The whole place has a relaxed, comfortable vibe. Our room was nice but a bit small for us,especially the bathroom but very clean. We shall definitely stay again but in one of the bigger rooms.

The decor inside the Portreath Arms was tastefully modern, including the restaurant. They have also made the outside spaces very welcoming with benches and rustic tables and chairs. To the side of the building is a further seated garden area.
