”Old, worn down hotel with very uninspired people. The first room I was given was terrible quality and so loud with street noise it was impossible to sleep. I was forced to pay for an upgrade to a "club" floor, which is basically the same room but comes with free soda, as it was the only room available that wasn't facing the street. IMO I should not have been charged for that.
Overall this is a 2-star hotel and I would avoid it if you can find any other options. It's about a 30min walk to...

Shower rod was coming off wall, outlets in room were very loose. Top layer of tub was peeling off.
Asked for additional towels and they were never brought up
Very convient to transit.

”We stayed at the AC Hotel by Marriott Bethesda Downtown after a long day at a volleyball tournament, and while the hotel initially looked nice, the experience was extremely disappointing.
Loud music from a speaker near our room (Room 605) kept us awake late into the night and woke us again at 4 AM. Despite multiple complaints, the issue was not properly resolved. When we requested a room change, it was denied, and we ultimately had to check out early due to lack of sleep.

”Overall a good experience. Our toilet sometimes had a drip noise, then it would go away so I didn’t call for service. The dining options seemed overpriced and we did not like the coffee from Doyle’s. The room was quiet and the location is wonderful for other restaurants and access to Metro.”
