”Das Meeresrauschen war vom Zimmer aus zu hören und das gesamte Haus hat einen tollen Charme. Die schönste und besonderste Unterkunft unserer Cornwall Reise. Man fühlt sich wie daheim und es ist alles sauber gewesen. Es wurde erst vor kurzem renoviert. Man teilt sich die Küche bzw das ganze Haus mit Shelley und ihrem süßen Hund. Parken ging ohne Probleme vor der Tür. Das Community Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen: Müsli, Scones, frische Croissants, Obst, … Im Bad bräuchte es...

”The room was clean and the staff were very helpful. We stayed in the disabled access room which was very good. The only thing we would say is the the toilet is very low for a disabled person, even with the grab bars. ”

”A wonderful apartment in a wonderful location. Great for early morning walks to the beach, and if you want to explore, most things are a short driving distance for hikes and other breathtaking nearby beaches. If you plan on being in this part of Cornwall, you should definitely book this home. Geoff & Jan are wonderful hosts.”

”The staff we encountered, and another we asked for help with heating, were friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were plentiful, although no fruit or brown bread was offered. Toast was offered, but with no suitable crockery. Not enough plug sockets in the bedroom and what were on offer, were not all usable ! Heating was provided in the room - although with no instructions - which proved necessary. Bathroom facilities were good and clean. Parking was plentiful. It was odd that a decaf coffee option...

”We had a very pleasant and quiet room with comfortable bed and view of harbour. Good cooked breakfast plus cereal toast etc. Staff were helpful and there was bike parking possible in small garden behind the house now part of the inn. ”

”Darren at reception was really lovely, the lady who served us breakfast in the morning was very lovely and accommodating. The hotel dog ran up to us barking as we were leaving, which was a bit alarming. The bedroom was simple and clean. Unfortunately the hotel has an awful smell, even in the bedrooms, like damp or mouldy carpets. A bee was in our room, luckily my husband was able to get it out. I appreciate it is an old historic building, but a deep clean and refresh of the carpets might help.”
