Villa Rossa is a newly renovated historic building consisting of two buildings covering 120sq. m. situated in the village of Archontiki. Its outdoor area covers 500 sq. m. and consists of the pool, playground, barbecue and outdoor dining areas where guests can admire the stunning nature views that surround the villa. Villa Rossa is centrally located in the prefecture of Rethymno with easy access to the north coast, sandy beach of Episkopi and the famous Arigiroupolis Springs whilst only being a short distance away from Rethymno center. The three bedroom villa provides the amenities for a self catered holiday and can comfortably accommodate 6 guests in beds and 7 if necessary.

Layout

Main Building

Entering the Villa, you will find yourselves in a spacious air conditioned open plan living area consisting of the living room and the kitchen. The living room features a large sofa, a 50" HDTV with Netflix, and a bluetooth speaker. Next to the living room is the fully equipped kitchen with branded electrical appliances which provides all essentials for a self catered vacation. On this level there is an air conditioned bedroom with a King size bed (1,60 x 2,00) and a closet. Additionally on this level there is a bathroom with a shower and the washing machine. Finally the open air loft of the main building which overlooks the living room and kitchen area of the villa features a Kind size bed (1,60 x 2,00), AC and closet space.

Separate Studio Building

The air-conditioned studio bedroom features a King size bed (1,60 x 2,00) with an ensuite bathroom with a shower, a closet, a 32" TV with Netflix and a mini fridge. Additionally the bedroom offers direct access to the pool area.

Outdoor Area

The outdoor facilities include:

- 50 m2 private swimming pool with a childrens section (0,55 - 1,50 m deep)

- Barbecue area with a sink

- Shaded outdoor dining area by barbecue for 8 guests

- Outdoor shower, sun beds and umbrellas by pool area

- Lawn covered childrens play area

- The outdoor area is fenced, offering privacy to our guests.

- Plenty of street parking space in front of the villa for car parking.

The villas surrounding area is ideal for secluded stay but also being very close to all kind of supplies shops, restaurants and services. Just a five minute drive from the villa, you can find one of the best sandy beaches of the North coast, the beach Episkopi. Additionally the nearby villages of Episkopi and Argiroupli have shops, traditional taverns, cafes and some supermarkets for your supplies.

Attractions near the villa are the Argiroupoli springs known for the famous water falls with its rich vegetation. If you enjoy walking, you can follow the beautiful path through the springs that leads to a cave that houses the church of Agios Ioannis. The owner of the villa Rossa has a well known restaurant in Argiroupoli called "Athivoles" where you will have the opportunity to taste a variety of traditional dishes and the famous lamb dish called "antikristo."

Another attraction near the villa is Kournas Lake, which is 12 km away is the only natural freshwater lake in Crete. The lake is in a beautiful landscape, lying in a valley among the hills. You can rent a pedalo by the hour and enjoy a ride on the lake.
