Completing the ground floor is a handy WC. Head upstairs to find three welcoming bedrooms, which share a beautiful bathroom with a separate bath and shower. The extensive, lawned garden wraps around the house and includes plenty of mature trees and shrubs, as well as a patio area where you can sip a coffee, pour a sundowner or serve an al fresco meal. From this gorgeous bolthole you can reach Walberswick’s sand-and-shingle beach in less than a mile, while the village’s pubs and places to eat are within 0.5 miles. Stroll to popular Southwold, 2 miles away (including the foot ferry) for the beach, Edwardian pier and choice of shops and eateries. For nature lovers, RSPB Minsmere, 8.5 miles away, is a coastal nature reserve where you can see some of the UK’s rarest wildlife and enjoy family-friendly activities.
