The room for sure needs an upgrade. I can’t even guess when the bathroom has been renovated. There was a cold draft from the window, right above my head when sleeping. But the staff was very nice and the location is supberb.

Kattohuoneisto Reykjavikissa
Hotelli sijaitsi upealla, keskeisellä paikalla. Harmillista oli huoneemme, joka oli pieni, erittäin ahdas ja lisäksi puutteellinen vaatesäilytyksen ja kylmäkaapin osalta. Suihkutila oli heikko. Onneksemme näimme kattohuoneistomme ikkunoista mielettömät maisemat ja revontulet.

There are two buildings - one is the main one and across street is the other one. At least the one across street is in bad condition: furniture from 80's, very small bathrooms, small rooms, noisy, smelly.. Breakfast was not too good as well. Very basic and very cheap. I would recommend people to pay a bit extra and choose other place.

Kuvat hotellista ovat uudemmasta rakennuksesta, jossa myös respa. Huoneemme sijaitsi tien toisella puolella rakennuksessa, jossa huoneet ovat paljon heikompaa tasoa kuin kuvissa näkyvät.

Yleiseen hintatasoon nähden edullinen hotelli aivan keskustassa. Hyvä yöpymiseen, jos ei aio viettää koko lomaansa hotellissa. Aamiainen riittävä ja 24/7 avoinna oleva respa. Vieressä myös kauppa eväitä varten. Offseason aikana ilmaisia parkkipaikkoja löytyy helposti. Nelikerroksinen ja huom. Ei hissiä.

Erittäin tyytyväisiä hotelliin. Jos joskus palaa Reykjavikiin, yövymme täällä mielellämme. Hyvä sijainti keskustassa ja Hallgrims kirkon vieressä, siisti ja rauhallinen hotelli, ilmainen parkkipaikka, reilu aamiainen kuului hotellihintaan (leivät ja päällikkeet, jogurtti, murot, hedelmää, vohvelit ja hillot), ilmainen kahvi/tee ympäri vuorokauden, mukava henkilökunta. Saatiin huone omalla parvekkeella ja näkymä keskustaan ja vuorille. Huomioitavaa, että talossa ei hissiä. Meidän huone oli 4. Kerros.

Hotellin henkiläkunta oli todella ystävällinen ja oleskelutilojen palvelut hyvät. Huone oli odotettua pienempi kooltaan, mutta ei haitannut liiaksi. Sijainti on erinomainen, lähellä keskustan keskeiset nähtävyydet ja Sundhöllin uimahalli, jonne kannattaa ehdottomasti poiketa kuumaan kylpyyn!

OK hotelli keskeisellä paikalla
Saimme ylimmän (4) kerroksen kulmahuoneen, joka oli kattoikkunasta huolimatta pimeähkö. Huone olisi kaivannut lisävalaistusta. Lisäksi kadulla ajaneiden ajoneuvojen äänet kuuluvat yllättävän kovaa etenkin öisin. Hotelluhuone oli kuitenkin siisti ja hotelli sijaitsee erittäin hyvällä sijainnilla. Aamupalalla oli tarjolla leipää ja leivänpäällisiä, muroja ja jugurttia sekä kahvia ja teetä. Henkilökunta oli ystävällistä ja asiantuntevaa ja lähes aina paikalla. Kokonaisuutena hintansa arvoinen majoitus.

Historical place in the middle of the city, accros the landmark church. I liked the room having its own bathroom and enjoyed the variety and quality pf the breakfast. Free coffee/tea is a big plus as well!

The location is excellent. Our window looked out at Hallgrímskirkja and you can walk everywhere. The room had some quirks that were mildly annoying: the bathroom light/fan made a loud buzzing noise; the open shower concept left a wet floor to the rest of the bathroom; there was no fridge etc. But the staff were friendly and accommodating. The bed was super comfortable and the comforter was dreamy soft and warm. Overall, a great option.

This was the tiniest room but with the most amazing view of Hallgrimskirja. The breakfast was good. The front desk attendant was extremely nice and he offered to help us tote our luggage up to the fourth floor. He also answered all our questions about the area.

Location, location, location there’s no more central place than this hotel. Free barking near the hotel in the center of the city, you don’t see that anywhere else. Rooms are nice, clean, and with a great view. Due two constructions you can have some noise.

The room is extremely basic and doesn’t have much, not even an alarm clock, but the staff was lovely and the location excellent!

Location is great. Fact that the TV did not work and the staff did not attempt to help past saying we’ll make a call and never following up was disappointing. Also the water smelled bad. No other hotel(s) in Iceland that I’ve visited had smelly water.
