Ylellinen huoneisto merinäköalalla Reykjavikissa

Taiteellisesti sisustettu ylellinen merinäköalahuoneisto Reykjavikin parhaalla alueella, 15-20 minuutin kävelymatkan päässä kaupungin keskustasta.

Sijaitsee vuonna 2017 rakennetun aivan uuden kehitystyön viidennessä kerroksessa, maanalaisella pysäköintialueella ja hissillä.

Huoneisto koostuu suuresta avoimesta tilasta, jossa on täysin varustettu keittiö, ruokapöytä ja sohvasetti, kylpyhuoneessa makuuhuone, merinäköala vierashuone ja kaksi erillistä parveketta, joista jokaisesta on erilainen näkymä kauniiseen Islantiin.

Perfect Stay

Property and amenities are even nicer than pictured on website. Has to be one of the best views in Reykjavík! Rental process was flawless and owner communication was timely and welcoming. We didn’t have a rental car, but found it easy enough to walk around to the different sites of interest. Clear choice for our next stay in Reykjavik.

Perfect place to relax in-between activities

My whole family really enjoyed our stay and really loved this rental. Starting from the beginning we asked if we could check as with COVID protocols in place we need to wait 6 hours for our results to come and the host was very accommodating and was able to allow an early check in early (11:00), this made waiting out our quarantine great – thanks Snorri/Margret for helping us with this. The unit was very clean and what we expected and fit our family well. Really loved the view and the retail was very quiet. Grocery stores, Omnom (chocolate/ice cream), Grandi Matholl (food court), restaurants, and gas station 5-minute drive or less. Bedrooms very nice and darkening shades made for perfect sleeping and was able to make dinner easily with a good set of dishes and cooking ware. Extra bonus - The rental has Jura automatic coffee machine (We6) which made barista quality coffee. Usually, my wife and I will head out early to a coffee shop but found the coffee awesome (European style) and the view of the harbor better then what we would find at a coffee and made for a more relaxing morning. I plan on getting one of these after my stay! We really loved Iceland and our stay at Grandar and when we next come to Iceland, I will be looking for this rental as it is one of the best we have rented.

Perfect Location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this condo in an excellent location in Reykjavik. It was bright, well appointed but without TV if thats important. It is obviously lived in when guests are not there so some what inconvenient working around clothes and foods of the owners. It is very spacious with great views of the city and harbor and close to dining and markets if you don't have a car. It is set up for 2 couples but I would not recommend any others in your party. Furnishings are adequate but not much outdoor seating if the weather allows. Our one critique is the communication with the owner that seemed delayed and minimal and orientation by the manager also seemed rushed and minimal. This may be the Icelandic culture since they were polite and courteous but somewhat formal and curt. All and all I would highly recommend Iceland, it's people and magnificent sites and recommend this condo as your base of operations.

Perfect place!

We loved our stay! The apartment was perfect for the 4 of us - clean, comfortable, spacious and beautifully furnished. And the view is terrific! It’s close to restaurants and town and has free parking.

Apartment with a view

Bergthor met us at the apartment and made us feel welcome. He showed us where to park our car and take the garbage. He also gave us some suggestions for groceries and restaurants. The apartment is very clean and modern. It is in a great location with a gorgeous view of the water and a short walk to the city center. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking. As another reviewer mentioned, the refrigerator was quite full so there wasn't too much storage space. This wasn't a problem for us since we only needed room for breakfast items. The dining and sitting areas provided room to relax and spread out. There are two balconies with views in all directions It was convenient to have a washer and dryer which but we had trouble getting the clothes to dry. I guess we were setting it incorrectly. We figured out the other appliances without any problems. The bed in the master bedroom is queen size and very comfortable. I'm fussy about beds and it was better than most in hotels and vacation homes. The bed in the guest room might be smaller but our friends said it was pretty comfortable also. The bedrooms have black out shades helped for sleeping. It was warm on Saturday night so we left the windows open and we could hear voices and traffic from the streets but otherwise it was very quiet. Overall, this is a great spot to stay in Reykjavik. We think you would enjoy it.

Stunning Views from Beautifully Appointed Central Property

We were so happy with our stay at this spacious, modern flat in Reykjavik. Pictures do not do the views justice - you have almost a 360-degree panoramic overlook of the North Sea, stunning to see no matter what the weather is like! The fitout in the flat is beautiful, modern, and high-end, with plenty of space for 3-4 people. Internet was fast, everything was super clean, kitchen was well-appointed, and the flat is within walking distance to a number of great restaurants (host gave some great recs!). The host was also willing to facilitate early check-in for us, which was much appreciated. Only areas for improvement would be clearing a bit more space for guests in the fridge/freezer & closets (owners had more stuff stored in both than I would have expected), and a microwave would be a nice addition to the kitchen - but regardless of those things, highly recommend!

Nice place. Beautiful view. Modern, clean, and well appointed.

Property is a corner apartment on the 5th floor. Easy access, secure parking, new and modern. Clean, great view, and lots of windows. Really enjoyed it.
