”We flew here from the United States for our daughter’s wedding. The property radiates historic charm, but has some modern updates, most notably the showers. Great pressure and temperature control along with space to move around. The grounds are beautiful! The reception was held adjacent to the hotel in an enclosed room that nicely accommodated the 60 guests. The staff is conscientious and friendly.”

”It is a lovely setting and the rooms are excellent. Breakfast was great and it was a beautiful start to the day to be sat with a great breakfast in our window looking over the gardens.
Point for Expedia bookers: Two points to flag that weren’t obvious to me on Expedia when I booked. I chose this because it had a pool, and my disgusted love staying where there is a pool - but the pool costs €22 per adult to use in pre booked slots only, and children aren’t welcome in the pool. I understand now...
