”Nice hotel. Very peaceful and quiet. Staff were very pleasant. Room was nice and clean. Only negative was the bed was not very comfortable. (I prefer softer) We enjoyed our stay.”

”We booked the Suite for a long weekend and weren’t disappointed. Room was spacious with numerous balconies. Extra touches with cakes, fruit or sweets daily along with bottled water, besides the normal tea and coffee. Cleanliness was second to none. Staff were professional and polite. Breakfast was full of variety along with freshly cooked eggs and bacon by order. The indoor and rooftop pool facilities were amazing. Lots of restaurants in the vicinity along with bars. Just a short walk...

”We had a good overnight stay at this Hotel whilst touring around Spain on our motorbikes. The Hotel is beautiful & well located close to Penafiel Castle, Protos & various restaurantes. It has a lovely swimming pool. The Spa was closed when we visited. It also benefits from having its own restaurant and a good bar in an enclosed outside courtyard. You have to pay for parking but at least it is secure. Would happily stay again. ”

”The hotel and the room were beautiful and full of luxury. Room cleaning was in excellent level. Area was calm. Only few negative things: 1) not all the staff spoke fluent English. Sometimes there were problems with understanding. 2) The swimming pool was closed and it was one of the reasons why we chose the hotel. It was September, so perhaps their summer was over.”
